Room was good, plenty of space with separate kids sleeping area. Mattress made noises everytime I turned over, and not comfortable. By Booking through a third party, it was impossible to get a session in the pool. Kids were disapointed.

The splash pool was not in use and there was no indication as to why. Indoor pool was still quite cool. Room was nice - the treasure hunt for the kids was a lot of fun with gifts. It was also disappointing that only one restaurant was open and staff especially at reception/concierge had not informed us.

The first issue arose when I received an email from Hotels.com with links to pre reserve breakfast and our time slots for the swimming pool. The link for the pool did not work and so my partner called the hotel to ask if they could book a slot at the pool for us. We were told that as we had booked via Hotels.com the links would not work and the staff at the hotel could not pre reserve the Pool slots. We would have to do it when we arrived. When we checked into the hotel and went to the pool the staff told us we could not reserve slots as the system was down and we had to just come back and hope there was space when we did otherwise would have to wait. We came back about half an hour later and none of the staff mentioned anything about the pool. It was not until we got pool side that we saw the splash pool was closed, as was the jacuzzi, the sauna and the steam room. When I asked the young lad at poolside he told me it should be open by the end of the week. No use to us as we're were only there two nights.... In addition when we got out the pool and went for a shower, they were freezing cold! When we checked out last year the staff told us we could still use the facilities and so we went swimming again after checking out. So, this year we planned to do the same as that day was my son's birthday and he was looking forward to going to the pool. When I checked out the girl on reception never asked how our stay was and told us the pool was closed for the day. Sums up our stay...

Room was fine. Having stayed previously I noticed other problems. Dirty open public spaces, ie rubbish left about, noticed most in restaurant and swimming changing area. My partner cut his thumb while in the pool and the staff had difficulty finding a first aid kit with a plaster!! Unsure of procedures on reporting an injury, should it be logged or not bother!! They didn’t bother in the end!! Found drinks bought in the bar terrifically expensive almost daylight robbery!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again just small things put a damper on it

Rude staff, didn’t care, terrible customer service. Had to change rooms and the room smelt like a sewer, debris all over the desk and orange gunk around plug hole! Refunded and drove home with my little one, the trip was an early birthday treat but what a huge disappointment. I would never book again ever.

The room was extremely warm even we had turned the heating off. The noise from upstairs was awful as children were running around until 11pm. The fridge also made noise all night which I then figured we could switch it off at the wall. I didn’t make a complaint as I didn’t want to upset the children. They were already shattered as they couldn’t sleep. This then impacted our day as we were left with grumpy children. We had to save up for this experience with the children as we don’t have a lot of spare money and it’s very disappointing that it wasn’t as joyous as we hoped.
