Our recent stay at this hotel was disappointing. We chose it for its convenience, especially since we were traveling with small children, and its proximity to The Island was a significant advantage. However, several issues impacted our overall experience.
The parking situation was challenging and even dangerous. We opted for valet service at $25 per day to avoid the far-back parking lot, which costs $10 a day. Although the valet service was fast and efficient, it wasn't convenient for coming and going from The Island.
We were charged a $20 per night destination fee for services such as bell service, bottled water in the room, and "exclusive" discounts. However, there was no bell service available, and we only received a gift bag with two water bottles, despite having four people listed on our hotel itinerary. The so-called exclusive discounts were easily accessible on the internet and available to anyone.
Upon entering our room, we were greeted with an overwhelming smell of cleaner, but the floors were filthy. Within 15 minutes of my child walking around, their socks were so dirty that I had to throw them away. The comforter was stained, and the bathroom had hair in the sink and water damage around all the baseboards.
This was our first time staying at this hotel, and while the location was convenient for visiting The Island, we were quite disappointed with the overall experience. We expected more for an $800 two-night stay and, unfortunately, we wouldn't stay again.
