Great atention and clean rooms! Loved the Jacuzzi!

I had a wonderful stay at Kali Escandón last week. The attention was perfect—the staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. My room was very nice as well; I really loved the retro vibe, while still being functional and spotless. Everything felt just right and made my stay very comfortable. The only thing I would suggest improving is the Wi-Fi in the rooms, as it wasn’t as strong as I would have liked. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Hotel

I rented the presidential suite- Kali suite, for a stopover in Mexico City. The large outdoor terrace, views, large jacuzzi tub were wonderful. The staff were excellent and welcoming. I only ventured out in the neighborhood for a short time and the area is nice and safe. There is a market with restaurants, vendors etc very close by, it was enjoyable. I will stay again next time I am in Mexico City.

I have stated here couple of times now. Excellent service and attentiveness. Walking distance to Condesa and all the restaurants there. The room AC kept timing out for some reason one night, it was fixed. WiFi Internet is pretty shoddy. will not recommend for WFH, if it wasnt for the WiFi pretty much 5 star

The hotel needs a lot of up lifting. The first room I check into, the air conditioning was broken. They tried to check it and found that the compressor was not working. So, they switch me to a different room on the second night. The other room was better, but the phone never worked, and they would never hear me I called down to the front desk for any questions. Plus, the WIFI IN THE HOTEL WAS A NIGHTMARE. For anyone that is in Mexico City for business do not stay at the hotel. Their Wifi NEVER worked.

beautiful room and hotel. AC worked great. Staff was super friendly. Hotel is near the Condesa, but not in it. Escondon is fine, but you need to walk a couple blocks to get into the really cool area with a lot of cafes and restaurants.

Bad experience

I choose the presidential suite and payed a lot for that! It was a disaster! I sent several email and nobody answer, and I discovery that it was wrong the email on trip advisor! So I called the hotel and they sent me another email but never answer either! - nobody ask me about accessibility. When I got to the room there was a lot of stairs to reach the suite! (When I say a lot it was like 52 steps). - nobody speaks English or Portuguese! Nobody was friendly or even trying to be! - when I got to the presidential suite, it was dark and the 52 steps stair I did in the dark because the light was not working on that hall! - I went to take a good shower and the shower was broken, so I couldn’t! I call the receptionist and they ask me to go down there to talk about it! They just inform they were going to fix only 8 hours later! - breakfast was very small and cheap! - air conditioner was week and dirty. - the sofa outside was old and very dirty too! - people were not friendly and nobody smile! If you ask something it looks they really didn’t want to help! I payed a lot of money and I regret for all the days that I spent there! I payed the triple of the price, at least, and it was a very bad experience! They are not prepared to make the customer life as a good experience! I really want part of my money back! I am really upset with this experience!
