Great location and view but that’s about it. NO AC. Bathroom was dirty and shower head need a replacement. The traditional vibe is great but you can still update items used like a new shower head. No towels had to ask. Also the door key is a pain as they only give you one per room and a remote that doesn’t work the tv for $500 pesos. For the price there are hotels in the same area with AC and not a million stairs. This could be a very nice property it just needs a few modernizations and a good deep cleaning.

Great staff clean hotel, very Beautiful. Only complaint is steps, steps, everywhere, steps, indoor steps, outdoor steps, need to cross a very busy street to get into town up on the hill. Just be aware very many steps. Other than that. Beautiful hotel.

Staff is friendly. Not spectacular views, but nice. Clean bed, but room and floor not as clean as I expected. Terrace a little dirty, and I did not get the room I paid for. So, in my case, it was not worth the price. Lack of amenities in the hotel (and surrounding area). No coffee for guests, and no cafe within walking distance to get one. I decided to Uber mine. That way, I could sit on my terrace in my robe, sip my drug of choice, and soak up some sunlight at the best time of day at 8:30 am Important to emphasize to potential clients that the climb to the hotel rooms is an actual climb - and over cobblestone. To call them floors is inaccurate. Two floors above is usually interpreted as a standard staircase; not here, tho.. It’s hiking and trails and balancing on rocks under foot. Anyone with breathing issues, physical difficulties, and children should stay elsewhere. Beautiful building, but it does not compare to hotels in the same location and price point. Glad I booked just 2 nights, so I could move on if necessary.

Great staff, great view, easy location (if you’re ok with hills and stairs 😉) and very reasonable price. AC would have been nice for the time of year (November), but the staff were accommodating with an extra fan - hot water was a bit spotty as well. Overall would recommend.

The first guy that checked me in left a lot of things undone (but i didn't know) so it caused confusion when i asked to change rooms to one with A/C. Apparently he was fired "for being on tequila" so i had to spend a very long time checking in. Checking out was also ridiculous- I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up to the office, and they got my deposits confused (tequila guy errors) but finally straightened it out. They are very nice, very friendly but need to get their stuff together because i was worried i was going to miss my flight. If you aren't in a hurry to get checked in or out, I would recommend for a safe, out-of-the-way spot. Bring shampoo!

Great location and view but needs updating

The staff were excellent. The long flight of stairs is challenging. The room was clean but small and very dated with the old mirror wall and red velvet bedspread, and the worn out chair. It had a nice balcony with a great view and awesome location.
