Beautiful location and amenable staff, the grounds were lovely to walk around. The dinner was excellent if overpriced, The room was small but adequate. Shame there was no stand up shower, only a hose into a bath. The stand up fan was also caked in dust and grime, thankfully it didn’t need to be used.

Pets are welcome in the property but if you are eating at the restaurant they will ask you to stay at the bar which is lovely. Great place to take your dog and explore the gardens.

Excellent stay for the night, at a really good price compared to what was locally available and which were inferior to Barnett Hill in overall value and quality. We checked in at 23:50 without problem, and although the signage could probably be a bit clearer in terms of arrows to especially at that time of night, we found the room eventually and it was clean and well prepared. Only downside was i couldn't work out if we had hand soap for the bathroom albeit it might have been in an amenity kit. Breakfast the next day was good, the staff were excellent and the checkout was very easy. Would stay again.

The room was clean, unfortunately there was quite a lot of mold in the bathroom. The sleep we had wasn’t great and the beds was so comfortable that I was really looking forward to a decent night sleep. I think the hotel need to be mindful when children are being booked on and to maybe place them away from people who don’t have children. All we heard was screaming and crying all night. The staff was amazing, the food was out of this world and worth it!! I would return, just hopefully have a good night sleep if I did
