We had a lovely stay - staff are wonderful, pool is huge, breakfast had loads of choice although as it got busier with guests it became a bit hectic with a lot of things running out. The room was spacious - we had a second floor king delux. Things were looking a little tired in areas - the first impression wasn’t great due to the lift up to reception and the pool tiles could do with some TLC. Setting is beautiful and some small local restaurants & shops to walk to.

Vue sur les piscines intérieures. Complexes très calme. Chambres très propres et lit impeccable. Très bonne insonorisation et climatisation silencieuse. Le balcon est vraiment petit et beaucoup de vis à vis mais il y a deux sièges confortables et une petite desserte. Petit déjeuner au buffet copieux et varié. Personnel extra, souriant et toujours aux petits soins. Les points négatifs sont l'éloignement par rapport au centre ville mais il y a quand même un restaurant sur place et d'autres petits restaurants à 10 minutes à pieds. Les piscines auraient vraiment besoin d'être refaites car il manque du carrelage partout . C'est dommage car les piscines sont très très grandes et entourées de beaux bougainvilliers. Pas de sièges de bain ni de parasol sur la belle plage : vraiment dommage. De plus il n'y a pas beaucoup de place sur les bains de soleil autour de la piscine qui sont très tôt pris d'assaut. Les bungalow avec spa devant les piscines et vue mer sont très accueillants.

Vi havde et 3 dages ophold som afslut på en Thailand tur på flere forskellige lokationer. Fin service og opmærksomme og søde medarbejdere, rigtig fin modtagelse. Rum lever op til forventninger og har god størrelse. Vi havde pool accces men kun sol om formiddagen på den lille terrasse grundet beplantning. Ved den store fælles pool var der solsenge nok, men selve poolen trænger til renovering - mange små fliser er røget af (mosaikstørrelse) - og meget af belægningen er terrassebrædder hvilket gør stedet hyggeligt, men det meste trænger til udskriftning eller behandling, så lidt synd at stedet på det område fremstår slidt. Det betød ikke noget for vores korte ophold. Morgenmad er gennemsnitlig men der mangler ikke noget. Lækker strand, ingen solsenge der, men der er liggeunderlag på værelser man kan tage med og pool/strandhåndklæder udleveres. Når der er ikke er højvande kan man gå langs stranden til Bang Niang området. Tager man taxi skal men en stor omvej for at komme til byen og spektaklet dernede (300 Baht) Stedet er lidt isoleret, der ligger lidt restauranter og massage bikse ved et par andre hoteller et par hundrede meter derfra - spiser der ikke selv. Det er et adults only, så der er fredeligt og roligt - og ret hyggeligt.

For the most part, we loved staying at this resort. We got upgraded to a villa which was wonderful as it gave us extra privacy from the other guests. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and were some of the nicest people we met on our trip. The grounds were beautiful, lush, and serene and the beach was just like a postcard. They provided a large beach mat and towels with a bag for the beach but there were also plenty of lounge chairs by the pool. For some reason the beach was always empty so we spent our mornings there. My only complaint was the quality of the food. We ate in the restaurants a few times and it was just not good. My husband did love the breakfast buffet though and the espresso machine was a bonus. I recommend going into “town” to eat but just know that you can’t get a Grab because the taxis have total control of the area and they charge 300 baht across the board. Overall, we loved our stay and would come back for the resort ambiance and practically empty beach, not to mention the sunsets!

The swimming pools are fantastic at the Haven, and the hotel also enjoys an ideal location right on the beach. All staff were very courteous but if you have something to sort out I would suggest speaking to a Thai rather than a Nepali member of staff as the Nepali's will not admit when they don't know the answer, so will give you inaccurate information on occasion. The only reason I am not giving the Haven 5 stars is the smoking policy - it really has to change, it is still like the 1980's with the Germans smoking pretty much anywhere they want and the staff too 'polite' to stop them. Smoking areas adjacent to reception are not acceptable in this day and age.

The property is in a superb location on a deserted beach, sunsets are stunning and the saltwater pool is very impressive. Great breakfast with a great egg station and good array of options. Swim up bar and snack bar with a nice restaurant for the evening. Also good fitness room and a wonderful Spa, would recommend the couples massage experience.
