This is a beautiful hotel set up on the hill above Lake Yamanaka with a gorgeous view of My Fuji (when not raining)! We only spent one night, but would definitely stay here again! The room was clean and comfortable, the building was clean and maintained, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic!

We had a wonderful room with a view. Mt Fuji was very clear on the day we arrived. We had clear shots of Mount Fuji for 3 whole days. Amazing. We didn’t use the public bath as there were a lot of visitors. But in room bath was amazing. Just bought bath salts to use. Parking was readily available and we were blessed to see some wildlife as we drove down to town. Saw a small family of wild boars and deer. Lovely to hear birds singing in the morning. Breakfast was good as well.

Great location to experience mt Fuji in a relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in the Japanese style family room which was very spacious with beautiful lake views. Exceptional hotel with stunning views of the lake and Mount Fuji. Perched alone on top of the hill it had a slight Shining feel to it. It has retained its chic 1960s decor. The food is highly priced, but it was a simple shuttle ride down to the town and we had the pleasure of dining at Shoya restaurant which was also a highlight of our trip.
