The lobby is beautifully welcoming and the desk staff was very polite. The room and breakfast however, were lacking. We were first given room 204 but were moved because, other than the beds being made, the room had not been cleaned. From 204, the desk staff moved us to 209 from which we needed to be moved again because the toilet wouldn't flush after we'd used it. After going to the desk AGAIN to report an issue with our room, we were moved to room 211 where we were finally able to relax a little before venturing out. As for breakfast, well, it was "food" and that's about it. I couldn't eat my biscuits/gravy because the biscuits were so hard, the sausage links and eggs were barely above room temperature making us concerned about whether/not the sausage was actually cooked through and there was no hot water for the oatmeal.

The room was clean and updated and the beds were super comfy. The staff were helpful and courteous and breakfast was good. The only downside is the pool area. The hot tub was disgustingly dirty as it feels like there is sand under your feet. It needs a good scrubbing with bleach. It also just seems like a big bathtub as the jets do not have much pressure. I would stay again definitely for the room but wouldn’t venture into the hot tub again.

We checked in and cheked right back out. No AC, water leaking from the ceiling, shower head pointing chest level. That was enough to know this was not the hotel for us.

As we enter our room was smelling something weird .. i think carpet are old so its time to change.. they have sofa bed and extra pillow but not a extra blanket.... morning breakfast was also not as expected with less food option....

This is the nicest Quality Inn I have ever seen. The staff and accommodations were average, not bad or good. I forgot that Quality Inns don't have an elevator, so my husband grumbled as we carried our bags upstairs to our room. The decor is cabin-chique, with lots of wood paneling and taxidermy. They have a fireplace set up in the lobby with comfy furniture. Walls were a littlw thin, so it took a while before people stopped running up and down the hall and settled down for the night. Free breakfast had the typical continental breakfast items plus a pancake maker. Room was clean.

Parts of the hotel are decent. The location is rather creepy. The manager could use a lesson on customer service. I had to move rooms in the middle of the night due to water pouring through the ceiling in the bathroom. (I understand things happen and can’t be prevented or predicted.) The only thing I had a problem with was there was not even one apology from the “manager”. I wasn’t upset until she acted like I was the inconvenience and had an attitude.

Upon entering the hotel, I was immediately impressed by the inviting atmosphere of the lobby. The staff, without exception, were consistently approachable and helpful, contributing significantly to a positive first impression. My overall experience was largely excellent, with a single, albeit minor, issue concerning the hot tub. While the jets were not functioning, the temperature and cleanliness of the hot tub remained commendable, offering a relaxing experience. It's worth noting that the hotel provided a comfortable and well-maintained environment throughout, and the value proposition was particularly strong. For travelers seeking a pleasant and ordable stay, this hotel is a solid choice.

The hotel was ok the beds were not the best and the pillows gave little support. Pool would of been great except the sauna wasn't hot the hot tub had very little jets that were working. Pool was warm though and spacious. I have been to many hotels and know never to bring glass to the pool but at this place you were not allowed to bring any drink to the pool side and was told rudely by the employee working of such rule. We were the only ones in the pool at the time. Also not allowed to bring towels from pool pack to room so dripping water all over carpet when returning to room. Also no elevator so many trips up and down stairs when loading and unloading vehicle.

Clean and parts appeared recently renovated. Breakfast was not up to par as other places but was adequate. Very conveniently located next to Highway on the side of Superior closest to Minnesota.
