Pleasantly surprised by the inside!

Looking at it from the street, it looks kind of run down. Landscaping not great, old fences. But the room was renovated and well thought out. Had nice bed and bathroom. Has a fridge too! The deck off the slider should prob be stained or redone - I didn’t spend any time out there.

Don’t Do It

The room smelled of cheap air freshener. Lost my voice within 2 hours. They said it’s disinfectant spray. Kept doors open for fresh air and owner was walking around outside with dog within 20 feet of my door smoking. Grounds were unkempt. Looked deserted upon arrival. Surprised you backed such a place. They wouldn’t give me a AAA discount or any other (senior) discount. I haven’t been sick since before Covid and I was sick for my entire week up there and still am. I don’t use scented products due to their level of toxicity. People need to be more aware of the danger they pose. Way overpriced. VERY disappointed. You should reconsider representing this place.

Mini-vacation

Since we had a few free days, we decided to take a quick trip. I found this motel and since we hadn't spent much time in the area, we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise - nice area, room clean, check-in service quick and friendly. The exterior of the motel is dated and needs refreshing and landscaping, but the rooms are updated. We enjoyed our time in the area.

Nice change from the city

Out of the way, away from the city for a couple nights. The peace was great. A large courtyard that we took advantage of to play cards and laugh and have a great time. No ice available. The pool was closed, which was unfortunate because it was nearly 100°. Room was updated, could tell it was done inexpensively, but redone nonetheless. Pool looked updated, but was closed. The duck pond was great. So many birds out back. No option for Netflix on the tv. Overall earl of sandwich was our favorite stop of our week long trip. (Started in salem, then boston, then sandwich).

They were in the process of redoing all the rooms. So the room I was in was brand new and it was done very nicely. It wasn’t some low budget remodel. It was very nice. The grounds are beautiful. There’s a pond there. He had a porch off your room. He could just sit out and look at the greens. The TV was a good size. They are still working on the outside. Which makes it look older, but the inside is really nice. You can park right outside your room and there was nobody upstairs because it’s a single story building. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Cold Outside and Inside

Room was very cold, had to call for assistance to get heat working in the room for winter stay. Remote very complicated. Took a long time for room to finally heat up.

Really nice old property with a duck pond and dreary potential but it’s needed some love for several years it looks like . I would love to see it brought back to its original state it could be really beautiful

Needs updating; it doesn't have to be fancy, but it looks like nothing has been done for decades. The bedspread, curtains, carpet, etc., is very dated. I stayed here before about 15 years ago and I see nothing has changed.
