The hotel was very well located. My wife did not like the bed too much as it was a firm bed. I didn't have a problem with the bed myself. The air-conditioner remote was not working on one of the rooms that we were assigned to and I had to use the remote from the other room which was not a huge problem for us.

There were a few mosquitoes in the room, making noise and getting me busy when the lights were turned off. Safe box was locked and papers from the previous guest were left over the safe. Besides this situation, the room and restroom were clean and working properly. Front desk resources are helpful, friendly and supportive.

Our stay at Hotel San Jorge was less than average. We realize it’s an older building, the surrounding area was okay, parking was a bit tricky but the room we were in was extremely small. The shower had running hot water but if you aren’t a skinny stick person you couldn’t stand correctly in the shower, you had to stand side ways which is not idea and even then the shower curtain was still on top of you. The bathroom had an internal window that we could see the foyer so we felt like we could be seen and the curtain was a small one so we couldn’t bring it down. If you are looking for a 1-night stay at a cheap price then this is the place just keep in mind that it’s just that. We would not stay here again, once and done for us. The morning staff was very friendly.

It was ok, the bathroom knob was loose, and one of my kids got locked in and got a bit scared. The towels felt more like carpet than towels. Just stayed for the night, everything else was ok.

This hotel was perfect for my needs as a budget-conscious traveler who wanted to stay near the museums, restaurants, and cafes in Santurce. It is aged and worn, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, and the neighborhood felt safe enough for my standards as a frequent solo female traveler. There are some very good restaurants nearby and the bus stop directly across the street provided reliable service to Old San Juan and beaches. If I returned and was on a similar budget I would definitely be comfortable staying here again.

Decent place to stay if you're on a budget. It's a pretty basic hotel. The staff was friendly and offered several recommendations for places to visit while we were there. The hotel is relatively quiet considering that it's off a busy road. The parking can be challenging since it's street parking with no parking lot. It's attached to a building with a restaurant (which also has amazing Peruvian food) that uses the same side street for parking, so when it's busy it makes it a little difficult to find a spot. Definitely worth it though. It's so close to everything in San Juan that you don't have to travel more than 15 minutes to do a lot of activities. I would recommend this hotel for travelers who are looking to save money on accommodations. It's not a luxury hotel by any means.. Simple and to the point.
