Excellent hospitality. I was sick and coughing when I was waiting for a taxi at the lobby. The staff gave me a medicine and took care of me very gently. Room and facility are clean and comfortable. The bar in the hotel is cozy. I will definitely use this hotel again.

The reception service can be improved. I asked the lady (with glasses; medium length straight hair) to make a duplicate key, she threw it on the counter with no smile and eye contact, which was very rude, though when I asked her why she did this to me later, she apologised, saying she did not mean it. The room was refurbished and clean, but providing basic amenities upon request would be helpful, such as shower cap and cotton buds (there was none upon request).

Across the street, a live band playing until 02:00 in the night... without aircon the temp inside was crazy, windows needs to be open. But with a live band playing, not that funny if you want to sleep.

Sleepless night

Hotel rooms are without AC and room temperatures are above 30 degrees. All you are given is a small tabletop fan. Health hazard for young childer and elderly, for us it only meant 200€ for a sleepless night. Bar on the other side of the street will be loud until 04, so no possibility of opening doors or windows to cool down either.

Hotelli on ulkoa vanhahtava mutta sisältä aivan ensiluokkainen! Henkilökunta oli erittäin avulias ja auttoi hoitamaan pyöräni säilytyksen turvallisesti sekä aikaisen aamiaisen kun lähdin jo aamukuudelta matkaan. Sijainti on todella hyvä. Allas- ja sauna-alue antaa mahdollisuuden rentoutua.

Hotellet är av äldre stil. Allt var inte öppet i hotellet, tex Ginbaren. Sängarna var out of date. Om man inte låg mitt i sängen, fanns risken att man gled av. Vårt handfat var det också stopp i vilket skapade översvämning. Frukost ok, men inte mer än så. Tex så när vi kom för frukost sent, så var mycket bortplockat. Kändes inte ok om man nu har en viss tid.

Rekommenderar verkligen detta boende! Jättefint rum med sköna sängar. Toppbetyg på frukosten! Sällan eller aldrig ätit en bättre frukost på hotell (till och med kaffet var bra, där många hotellkedjor misslyckas helt enligt min bedömning). Personalen var hjälpsamma och väldigt trevliga. Vill man bo centralt i Mariehamn med gångavstånd till det mesta så är detta hotell ett givet val.
