Such friendly staff, the lady that checked us in was lovely and so helpful. The rooms are looking a little tired, but were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely outdoor area and not much noise considering how close to the A1 it was. Great stay.

Nice hotel. Quiet inside despite being close to the main road. Quick check in, comfortable bed. Downfall having no tea or milk in the room.

6/10 Good

Our room was very small, but as it was just an overnight stay, was sufficient. The decor is very tired and in need of a spruce up. The room was clean with a good shower. There appears to be stepped access to all rooms. I may be wrong about that, but mobility impaired persons might want to contact the hotel regarding access before booking. A pub serving pug grub is attached. It has a small outside space that is desperately in need of some tlc. I found the staff friendly, especially the manageress who tries to go the extra mile for the guests. There is plentiful parking. The hotel is handily placed just a few minutes off the A1.

Although the bar was out of stock in my chosen drink there were plenty of alternative choices. All the staff couldn't be more helpful, both at check in and the bar

Somewhere cheap to lay your head for the night. Ok but certainly not sparking clean or somewhere to stay for more than a night. Bed was quite comfy and the noise wasn’t too bad considering bar below.

Great service, great staff. Decor a little tired.

The staff were excellent and the room was lovely and quiet. The beds were really comfy. I would only say that the shower cubicle was very cramped with a drench shower head which was unnerving for my elderly mum and the carpets and some fixtures were a little tired.
