Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended
This is a family-run hotel, but unfortunately, the service and professionalism were well below expectations.
1. Upon checkout, the owner—a rather rude older Asian man—accused me of attempting to leave with the room key and raised his voice at me in a very inappropriate manner. There is no in-room safe, so guests are expected to leave their valuables with the staff, which raises concerns about security. When I politely asked for his name, he refused to provide it. The interaction was deeply unpleasant and unprofessional.
2. Housekeeping appears to be available only between 9am and 10am. After that, we were given low-quality, visibly unclean towels. The following day, the room was barely cleaned—the bed was left as we had left it—though the towels were replaced.
Additionally, the website fails to mention that the property has no lift. After midnight, the reception area is poorly lit, and we had to use our phone’s flashlight to navigate safely.
While it may be a family business, that’s no excuse for the lack of basic hospitality standards. I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
