We love the city, but the a/c...lacks

We stayed here in July 2025 for 3 nights. The hotel itself is decorated in a fun way. We loved seeing the dogs and getting to pet them! The night clerk doesn't speak English so don't expect too much help. The water pressure in the shower was quite good. The air conditioning didn't seem to be set on "cool" but just on "fan" so we had to sleep with the windows open. There's no way to adjust the a/c in the room either. For Americans this is not a comfortable way to sleep. The second room we booked there was even worse because it didn't have big windows to open so it was very stuffy and hot.

Small rooms, but perfect

A hidden gem in Paris, Le Marais area. Great location, staff and room. Perfect for 3 nights. Keep in mind the rooms are very small, but it has it’s charm. The most important thing for us is cleanliness and quiet rooms and this had both. Only heard a few doors shut here and there, but it didn’t bother us. Very good value and worth the price. And I have to mention the 4 cute little pups, it made our stay even more perfect! Can’t wait to come back.

Clean, well kept property with very eclectic decor, focusing on popular culture and comics. Nice breakfast with variety of typical offerings of cold meats and cheeses with with some eggs and bacon/sausage. Rooms were clean but small and bathroom, especially the shower, was small and cramped. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Charmig och centralt hotell

Vi gillade verkligen detta hotell, som skiljde sig väldigt jämfört med de stora kedjorna. Väldigt personligt och charmigt. Personalen pratade mestadels bra engelska och var tjänstvillig och trevlig. Stilen med tavlor och planscher överallt var trevlig och man fick verkligen känslan av att ägaren gjort det trivsamt enligt sin smak.

Highly Recommend

This charming, stylish and impeccably clean hotel made our stay in Paris a delight. The hotel is situated in a fun neighborhood with lots to see in walking distance and close proximity to public transportation. The hotel management and staff were friendly and so helpful. フロントのスタッフはみなフレンドリーで、狭いビルだが、ラウンジなどもとてもお洒落。メトロ駅にも近く便利。シャワーブースが狭く、EVも狭いが、ヨーロッパの街中のホテルならでは。猛暑が続いた頃だがエアコンもしっかり効いていた。

Bodde i enkeltrom ut mot bakgård. Sjarmerende lite hotell med gjestfri betjening. Lite rom, men praktisk innredet med moderne bad. Stille om natten, gode senger, aircondition, godt renhold. Nydelig frokost i hyggelig frokostsal. Jeg ønsker å komme tilbake, anbefales.

Amazing hotel, perfect location

Hotel de Roubaix was absolutely perfect for our trip to Paris. The owner is incredible and very attentive to his guests’ needs. He greets you every morning in the lobby with his adorable posse of pups and makes sure everything is ok with your stay. The hotel is adorned with art- eclectic, modern and classical mixed. The location was absolutely perfect- within walking distance to the metro, multiple cafes and bistros and shopping. It is just down the street from an absolutely stunning church (Paroisse Saint-Nicolas-des-Champs) which I recommend visiting if you have a chance. Overall amazing experience and would stay here again if I come back to Paris.

Great hotel in great location

The staff was increadibly friendly. The hotel is clean and new with a fun pop culture esthetic. Location is great.; halfway between Gare de l'Est and the Seine. Many nearby magnificant restaurants. Stand out feature was the powerful AC, a rarity in Europe and welcome during a heatwave.
