Beautiful hotel. The only downsides (if you can even call them that) is a small tv in the room and lacking in the working power outlet department but we loved our stay and would stay again!

Hotel stay was comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was subpar. There was no coffee left in the container, and no one was available to refill it. There was no fruit left, and no protein.

Beautiful town, comfortable bed (pillows suck) and the room is very clean. Awesome rain head shower with lots of hot water. Staff was super nice and check in went smoothly. Breakfast is the usual but they had fresh yogurt and fruit which was nice. It’s a little worn looking in spots and the walls are pretty thin but overall will stay again when traveling through.

TV kept getting darker and harder to watch during athletic events. No one to change out a newer TV. Offered a different room but we were staying for several days and didn't want to have to move all of our stuff. My wife wished there would be a bath, shower was fine but she likes baths.

I would have rated it a 5 except that you had no control of the temperature in the room. We had to call the front desk to get temperature adjustments and that’s just ridiculous in my opinion.

The Gin Hotel is a must stay again for me. The Gin is a unique hotel in a 100yr old building right in downtown Lexington. It was quiet, clean, safe and all of the staff were awesome. I grew up in the area but haven't returned in a couple of decades. Downtown Lexington has transformed into a great place to walk around, shop, eat and have a few drinks. The only negatives I would give is parking is tight for modern vehicles and the mattress was firmer than my taste... but that's personal preference.

Room had very limited space. No electric outlet near bed for medical device. 24" TV. Dated. Boutique hotel that is limited in its appointments. Well maintained for a century's old building.

My husband and I stopped here overnight on our way south and were pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is. The restaurant was delicious and priced very reasonably. Nice sojourn.

Might of been better if the room was not across from the kitchen and hearing the door slam all night and early morning. The room was a handicap room (didn’t know when booking) the shower head was waist high. Was not able to adjust the room temp. The hallway lights just poured through the room door.

this place was immaculate. the room was beautiful. we stayed on the 4th floor overlooking downtown. we woke to snow falling, you could see all around. the area was just wonderful. walking distance to many great eateries, hobby shops, and coffee. parking was tight but we found a spot. breakfast was minimal, but we enjoyed it. the hotel had a very classic feel with modern updates. bathroom was great. big shower. everything was clean. the staff were more than helpful. would definitely stay agian.

Charming, lovely. It was a wonderful experience and the staff was wonderful! Would definitely stay again. Our only complaint was that we could hear the adjacent rooms on both sides. Conversations were clearly heard and kept us awake. I was even awakened in the night by someone snoring in the otger room. I don't feel the neighbors were loud either. Just thin walls. I think it is just that it is an older building.
