It was very clean, older fixtures of course but the price was right. There was only a microwave to heat water , however going for coffee at the local coffee stop led us to find out about the beautiful scenic Dam so no complaints!!

Small town Motel

Good location in a small town. Basic older Motel. Comfy beds . Park in front of your room. Just off main Hwy 11. Has a few amenities in town. Grocery , Gas etc. 10 min to the next town for Restaurants .

I was there 7 years ago, and I was looking forward to a colourful room. I miss the murals! I could tell the paint was done recently. Hope there will be new murals next time. Windows and air conditioner filter could use a good cleaning, but otherwise it was very nice.

It was quite pricey for a off highway motel room, i would have expected it to be half of what we actually paid. Aside from that, the owner was very nice and pleasant, the room was clean and tidy but a bit run down, but again, its an off highway motel, not the Ritz-Carlton.

If you want to impress your lady don't bring her here. One thing is they have a portable heater that kept dripping out. Second there is a coffee maker but no coffee or creamer or cups or cabinet to put these things in, these things are standard in the industry. Icing on the cake happened in the morning the power was out so no water to flush the toilet and no shower for the wife. I think there was a scheduled power outage since I saw Hydro One working on the lines down the street in any case no discount was offered.

This place is terrible. Dust & dirt, large box in the corner of the room, a child sock on the floor, bathroom sink was clogged and there was no curtain. This place looks like it is in the 50's & $110 a night is a ripoff in the highest.Bad, bad bad

A good, affordable little motel

We stayed for the weekend for a couple's getaway while our son was at a camp about an hour away. It was a simple room with white walls, but very clean and comfortable. The flooring was nice and updated looking. We chose it for the price. All appliances were unplugged except for the fridge. There was no coffee maker. We don't know if/where the BBQ is. Very small soap and shampoo packages for minimal waste. Garbage and recycling bins were in the room. The TV has a Roku remote. There is another review mentioning a curry smell - that is in the front desk as the owner family lives on site. There are two very small towns nearby - recommend the chip shop to eat out, and the restaurant next door is for breakfast and lunch closing at 2. Local businesses have limited hours because the towns are so small. From the description I was expecting young families, but it was very quiet. Would recommend for a nice stay on a budget.
