We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient, right off the highway, but still felt quiet and peaceful. You can hear the waves of Lake Superior at night, which was actually pretty relaxing and made for a great way to fall asleep. The balconies were a nice touch, with outdoor furniture where you could sit and enjoy the sunrise over the lake. Overall, a comfortable, peaceful place to stay with a beautiful view and a convenient location.

Excellent stay in a cozy, but well appointed ground floor room which overlooked the lake. Clean bathroom & comfortable bed. As others have said every footstep can be heard from the above rooms, but this did not spoil our stay. View to the lake in the lower rooms is obscured by trees.

The balcony overlooking the lake was superb. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was minimal but effective for starting out the day. The lounge area in the main lodge was very comfortable. Parking was adequate. The staff was warm and welcoming. A very nice restaurant is only a short drive. Numerous shops (in towns and along the way) over a nice selection.
