The rooms are very basic, but we had everything we needed for our stay. A really nice surprise was how comfortable the beds were. The motel is close to hiking trails. The parking lot for hiking Stairway to Heaven was a 2 minute drive from the motel. If you stay here in the winter, it is only a 5 minute drive from Mountain Creek ski resort. We would stay here again.

I had a late arrival due to unexpected delays. I kept in phone contact with the manager whom I was trying to keep apprised. When I finally arrived at 10.50 p.m. he was totally accommodating and personal escorted me to the room, turning on the lights for me. This exceeded the service I normally have been receiving in other types of hotel properties.

Ancient motel stuck in the 80s. Room smelled as though it had been sealed since then. There weren’t any amenities that I can mention.

It's a very pleasant, comfortable place to stay with very nice inn keepers. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The views around the motel are beautiful...and you are very close to wonderful hiking trails and ski resorts.

The sheets were dirty. We found several long black strands of hair in the bed along with what looked like blood and rust stains... I would suggest bringing your own bedding or staying elsewhere. We asked for new bedding which we got, but those weren't much better.

I booked the least expensive room for $68 later in the evening. When I arrived, the Desk person evidently had booked the last of those rooms to someone else. He said there were no such rooms available and gave me a double room which I did not need charged me nearly $20 more after taxes. He gave me the option of not staying there, but I had already driven 20 minutes out of my way for the less expensive room good busy practices as well as common decency dictate that he charged me the lower price, but my only option was to take it or leave it. I feel this is dishonest and misleading, even if it was done by mistake, I should have received the lower rate. I am absolutely sure they would not have booked that room to someone else last night.
