My husband and I recently stayed at your hotel from Thursday, April 10 to Friday, April 11. While we found the room to be beautiful and our overall stay pleasant, I wanted to share a couple of concerns that impacted our experience.
First, we were disappointed to discover we were incorrectly charged for metropolitan parking, despite already paying for valet parking through the hotel.
Secondly, we had an unpleasant experience at the bar on Thursday evening. I requested chocolate to be added to my espresso martini, and the bartender—a man with many tattoos—responded in a tone that was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. He said, “We aren’t that kind of bar,” in a way that felt condescending and unprofessional. A simple, courteous explanation that chocolate wasn’t available would have been much more appropriate.
We chose your hotel for its reputation for quality and service, and while many aspects lived up to that, these two issues left us disappointed.
