Clean well thought out rooms with desk, refrigerator, tv, chair. Basic continental breakfast with fruit, pastries, and granola bars. I’d come again. Not a lot to walk to, but short 5-10 drive for restaurants and stores.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Marin Lodge. Check in was quick and seamless, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I loved that everyone greeted me by my first name when I encountered them. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable and overall I had a great stay. My only suggestion would be to have an iron available in the room which is important for guests who are traveling on business. I would definitely stay at the Marin Lodge again.

Ideally situated outside of San Francisco, plenty of amenities close by , there are many choices of restaurants in San Rafael , we used ferries and drove in to San Francisco, the parking is very expensive , this is why we chose the Marin lodge,

If you’re hesitant to book at the lodge, don’t be. It is cozy, clean, and homey. My son and I stayed one night and were impressed by both the hospitality of the staff as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the room. We will absolutely stay at Marin Lodge when we’re in the area again!
