This place was amazing! Super easy and efficient check-in. The upstairs pool area was to die for and the room itself was absolutely dreamy for our 20 year anniversary! We left Costa Sur hotel because it was disgusting and at the last minute booked Pinnacle 220 and it was such a treat. I was ready to buy a property there!! Wonderful job to all the staff we encountered from front desk to wait staff to security. You will not be disappointed! Location to beach and fun, safe nightlife as well. FIVE STARS!!

The property was well maintained. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is ideal for walking to nearby attractions. The only downside was the unit that I stayed in was adjacent to a main road, which was very loud.

Welcoming and Clean. Mountain side is very noisy with a main highway directly below. If you are sensitive to noise the Mountain View will not be for you.

Amazing stay!

We loved this property. We all loved the rooftop pool and bar which had amazing service. They were friendly and tolerant of our kids and the location can’t be beat.

There was no tv in the bedroom and the front desk staff was rude. They are highly protective of towels and did not believe us when we said we never received any beach towels. All extras are very overpriced but the property itself was clean and the rooms were spacious.

Beautiful room very noisy

Check-in was fine staff and especially our housekeeper was very very nice. Unfortunately, our room was right over a busy highway and it was extremely noisy and we actually could not sit out there cause it was just that noisy. If I had known this I would not have gotten this room. I would’ve requested one on the other side of the building

Very nice place. I would definitely stay again. Located up a pretty large hill but they provide a tram car free of charge. It was wonderful. Zero complaints.

Be aware of the townhouses!

The room we were given was atrocious and did not look like the photos on the site/app whatsoever. The descriptions did not represent the room in the slightest. We stayed in a townhouse on “loft level” and which after checking in proved to be below ground and had 100% view of a concrete wall. We had almost zero natural Light and had to have lights on at all times of the day. It was musty and depressing. Not at all how you want to feel in Mexico. After multiple calls and complaints with the front desk we were moved to a different unit days later but at a very hefty price that doubled the costs of the stay. The new unit was beautiful with a full ocean view but we paid an extremely high amount for it as we were desperate to have a nice stay. Overall for the price we paid in total for the stay it was not worth it at all. So over priced and the hotel made us feel guilty for wanting to change. Be very aware of the town houses!

Very good place to spend your vacations!

My stay at this property was fantastic, we had no setbacks. The service was very good, the people very friendly and helpful at all times. We felt very comfortable and happy in this place. We would come back again; although I think it is a bit expensive; I would love it even more if it was a bit more affordable... I loved this Place!

Excellent location next to funicular with easy access to the old town without the crowds or noise. Amazing rooftop pool with views of PV. Well furnished apartment with fridge, stove, utensils, cutlery and unit also had washer /dryer and deck had BbQ

Overall, a nice place to stay in PV

Overall, a very nice day. Everything was very clean. The pool area was outstanding. Probably one of the best I’ve ever seen. I do wish they would provide some coffee and some bottled water for the room. Especially since you’re not supposed to drink the tapwater. It’s a little bit of a nuisance to have to trudge up the hill from the beach area or you can ride the funicular, which unfortunately broke down with us on it. That was not a very pleasant experience, and we wondered if we were gonna be spending the night on it since there’s no reasonable method of escape. I would definitely stay here again as the overall experience was positive.

Great location & nice to have a kitchen and sitting area in the room. There was only 1 source of drinkable water in the room (refrigerator dispenser) and it was broken for our entire stay. The lighting in both bathrooms was very dim also. Overall a decent value & great location

We took a penthouse for 17 days as we were there a year ago but first floor and poor view. This hotel is next to a highway making the veranda on half the building unusable with the noise. Further the air conditioning blows right on the bed and ended up. With a cold from this. Nice staff great location but not a luxury or upgraded stay. Will not return having spent $5000 on this noisy cold penthouse . Everyone was talking about the highway issue that starts at 6:00 am. Nice quality but sad circumstances. GREAT CREW

Birthday Stay

Pinnacle Resort 220 was an enjoyable and relaxing experience. When we arrived Ramon assisted us into the correct lobby area to check in and was very helpful throughout our stay. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. I seen reviews complaining about the wrist bands but honestly it didn’t even bother us. Only thing I didn’t enjoy about wearing it was people knowing where we were staying. The rooftop pool area is beautiful and the bar staff were awesome. Loved the happy hour. Enjoyed waking up early watching the sunrise in the morning. The suite is clean and offers a lot of amenities during your stay and the washer and dryer with laundry detergent is a plus ! Wish that coffee would’ve been included, but no biggie going to the store which is right around the corner. Location is perfect and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Pinnacle Resorts for making my birthday experience special.

Expectation; communication lacking

Fell for the bait and switch for a better room. The first room offered was on the 2nd floor had no “partial ocean view” as advertised. Could only get a better room by paying significantly more. Which we did because we were so disappointed with the first room. Also, ignore the Hotels.com noise around VIP properties and any status. You aren’t going to get any of those “perks” here. I’m surprised we got the bottle of wine. Which was not very good anyway. The upgrade they say you can get (IF AVAILABLE) is hooey. Didn’t I just pay for the upgrade that should have been free? The room that we paid extra for was on a higher floor and had very good views. The unit was quite nice. It was cleaned daily by very good and efficient staff The place itself is nice. The power only went out once and only for about an hour. The rooftop pool is terrific. We used to order drinks and food all day by the pool, but they have doubled the price for everything. I would be curious to know if that business move made them more money or not as it appeared we weren’t the only guests not ordering food and beverages as opposed to our last visit a couple years prior. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are the stars of the show despite management’s poor decision making. The location of the property is ideal and convenient to local restaurants and shopping. Will explore other properties in the future as there a lot of options.

My family really enjoyed our Christmas week stay. The living space was very roomy, and beautiful. Loved the washer and dryer! The roof top pool was very nice. The neighborhood was quiet, and the nearby funicular really helped with those up hill climbs. We also saw whales in Banderas Bay from our balcony. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested.
