When we arrived at the hotel the service was good. While already in my pajamas ready to relax and watch tv, I noticed a pair of very soiled men’s underwear in the area between the mattress and the wall.
I called for someone to remove the underwear. 30 minutes later I called and asked for another room because no one came to retrieve the underwear.
The young man at the front desk agreed to move us to another room. I called had to call back and ask when they were going to move us because it had been about 15-20 minutes. He told me he’d call me back soon. About 5 minutes later he said I could come down and get the new room key myself he could not bring it to me.
By that time I was very upset because it had been close to an hour after I first called and reported the nasty underwear. I retrieved the key and we went to the new room. Ready to relax and go to bed. The beds we’re comfortable and I slept okay once I got over the grossness of the first room experience. The breakfast was ok, but overall the lobby and elevators appeared housekeeping didn’t work on the weekends. Had we not been pressed for time the next morning because of an early appointment , we would have chosen to eat breakfast elsewhere because of the overall cleanliness issues. I will not stay at this facility or any other Comfort Inn and Suites again; and I believe I should be given a partial refund. I chose this place because I have used Hotels.com many times with very few problems. Thank you
