Storehouse Inn is a must stay!

We had a Fabulous stay at a spectacular spot. The piano room was spacious Whimsical & Fun. The chandelier over jacuzzi was a great idea. Double shower heads were nice after a day of hiking. Enjoyed coffee and pastries on our porch overlooking the park where all ages were enjoying the morning.

Close proximity to the town…ease in walking to shops and eateries!! Quaint venue; awesome room; comfy bed; nice, thick towels; charming ambience…balcony overlooking square. Host always responded quickly to questions and gave great recommendations.

This place was incredible!! Location was 1 block from the main square. Christmas time was great- when we arrived they had our room decorated. Hassle free check in- this part was great.

Escape to Beautiful N. Georgia

Very nice! Loved the exotic coziness of the room😊 Loved the location, was able to enjoy live music at the park across the street😎 The ac unit was so close to the bed…I had difficulty finding the right buttons for comfort 😬 Overall a great place to stay!

We absolutely loved it so much we ended up staying another night. Mike, the owner was amazing, and our room was one of the best experiences on our trip! We’ve already said that we will come back to the same room and also try the other ones!

Well worth the visit

We enjoyed our one night. The room was very clean and spacious. The air conditioning was noisy, but it wasn’t too warm so we switched it off. Would definitely recommend both the hotel and visiting the town of Dahlonega.

It’s exactly what we expected. It’s an old place and you can tell. That’s what gives its charm. We were there for the 4th of July. We got to watch the free concert in the park from our balcony. Everything in the square is walking distance. The only negative I would give, is I wish the back door had blinds. Since it’s next to the street, even with my eyes closed I could see headlights driving by. But I am also a very light sleeper. My husband went right to sleep.

Great stay!

It’s a really old space but we were comfortable. The wall heater worked very well! The room was small but the bed was warm and comfy. We had a terrace and that was lovely! Mike made check in very easy!

Quaint old style feel was very nice. The plain wooden floors surprised my partner (she expected tile or carpet), but I liked it. The place was clean and easy to access (note well, Mason is on the 2nd floor, stairs only). I appreciated the tin roof decor of the coffee corner. Not so great was the noisy window air conditioner that pointed right over the bed. Less than ideal was that the shower was open to the bathroom vanity area, which was itself open to the room, and this combination led to a drafty shower. Adding a mini-split on open the wall area adjacent to the hall entrance, and a shower door, would have made it a fantastic stay.

Beautiful room with lots of details. Great and easy access. Very comfortable. Beautifully remodeled. Mattress needs to be changed and pillows are to tall. Maybe it is just us that we are use to a firm mattress. As detailed as the host is I am sure he will address this in no time. Overall we are very happy we got to know this place is unique

We only got to spend one night at the Old Storehouse Inn but it was magical. A very charming room full of character and special touches. The town square is just around the corner and we enjoyed strolling around looking at the Christmas lights. Falling asleep with the tree lights on was a romantic touch and made us want a tree in our bedroom at home. I highly recommend a stay at the Old Storehouse Inn and can’t wait till we’re able to return. My only wish is that there was a pen so I could have written a note in the memory book the owner has there. Also, make sure to have lunch at the Smith House Restaurant- the food is amazing! Thanks for sharing your special place with us at the holidays! Merry Christmas!!

Easy check in. Spacious room. Nice ambiance. Comfy bed. Clean. Quiet area and still very close to downtown. Some of the floor planks are loose so it was a little awkward to walk in one area of the room, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay!

Charming old property with comfy, renovated room

Charming old property. A bit of TLC needed on the outside but the room was awesome: rennovated but likely some original features, modern comfort, large room, and good amenities. Virtual checkin was awesome....excellent communications, quick, responsive.
