The room was lovely and the pool area is gorgeous, but the service in the Yellowbird restaurant - particularly at breakfast - really lets the hotel down. Service is super-slow and some fairly basic items on the breakfast menu were unavailable on consecutive days. Two days before our departure we booked a taxi via reception for 6am for our trip to the airport. We double-checked the night before that the cab had been booked, and were assured it had been. However, on the morning itself, we discovered that the cab hadn’t actually been booked and we had a stressful 45 minute wait for another cab to arrive.

The Perfect Resort

I stayed at the Island House for my best friends birthday trip. It was about 17 of us and the property was perfect for all aspects. We enjoyed the pool, the onsite movie theater, the restaurants and the gym. The staff: Kera, Tamara, Jarvis, Roshado were all so accommodating and wonderful. I’ll be back!!
