The staff was very welcoming helpful and friendly. He was honest and prepared me that it was an older building and the room I requested needed an upgraded bathroom and furniture. I was pleased with the transparency for my stay and had no issues...worked great for my needs. Felt safe and had everything I needed. Excellent location too - right by Costco, wal - mart, several dining places and right off the freeway. Quiet and most accomodating.

Very kind and helpful staff. Upgraded us to a king from a queen for free because they had extra space. It’s definitely an old property and has a little wear and tear, but every inch of our room was cleaned very well and they had every amenity we needed for our short stay. There are multiple restaurants and stores in walking distance, Walmart is right across the street. It was an ideal location for us, and we felt safe and comfortable. I would definitely consider staying here again if I were to ever come back to the area.

If you're an experienced traveler this hotel would rate above a hostel. I didn't notice the rating before booking but once there it explains the rating. It's a nice quiet place but, there wasn't a phone in the room and the rickety stairs had me worried coming and going. The bedding looked to be a couple years old but, it was clean. There wasn't a chair in the room so I had to sit on the bed. No guide for the television which meant I had to surf through the channels. AC worked great though kept me cool while it was hot outside. The front desk clerk was nice and personable and gave directions and information for local restaurants and shops. Like the old saying goes "you get what you paid for" and this hotel matched up to that. In a pinch I'd stay here again and if you want a place close to the Hard Rock casino that's inexpensive give this place a try.

I would recommend a full vaccination and PPE before considering a stay here! We were doing road construction at the nearby Air Force Base and booked three nights for our crew. We weren't looking for anything fancy. We just needed a clean place for hardworking guys to shower, sleep and get some rest, along with a reasonably safe place to park our trucks and expensive equipment. Our job got pushed back a day, so the guys didn't arrive until the second day of our reservation. They checked in, got their keys, opened the room and found an unmade bed, beer bottles throughout the room, dirty floors and a dirty bathroom. It looked like someone had already been using the room. But the condition of the room wasn't even the most unbelievable part. When we complained, the proprietor was crass and dismissive and actually told us that sometimes people break into the rooms at night! We explained that we had expensive equipment with us and obviously weren't comfortable leaving it in a parking lot where break-ins and vandalism were a concern. Her response? There wasn't that kind of activity going on “right now” because “that only happens at night.” WHAT?! 😂 We're booking a HOTEL. Nighttime is kind of the whole point! At that point we told her we weren't comfortable having our employees or equipment there and wanted a refund so we could go somewhere else. She then refused to refund all three nights because we were considered a “no-show” the first night. So apparently missing the first

There was construction happening at the property so what I was expecting wasnt the same as the photos. The room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I am from out of town and was warned to be careful in Marysville. Luckily I felt pretty safe and it was convenient to have a 24hr gas station across the street for snacks.

It got a star for the new flooring, but everything else needed upgrades. Needs paint, recaulking, better furniture for, better maid service, washing linens and bedding, plumbing finishes, replacing bent window screens etc. parking lot and concrete areas around property need attention, stairs and landings appear to be plywood, huh. Front desk kid was super nice and check in was easy. The issues were upstairs in the room. Bugs on the floor and walls, nice sized cockroach and hairs on the bed, and the ceiling was falling in in the shower…I walked down to the office and the first thing the clerk said was “want a refund?” Haha um yes please!!!

We checked in, and left DID NOT STAY. There was a truck on blocks in the parking lot, that appeared as it had been there a while. The walls were filthy, the ceiling had water damage & looked like it could fall in, the security lock was missing. This was more of an “apartment complex” than a motel. No card required at check-in, but there was a sign requiring a cash deposit. We were not asked to leave a deposit. The positive I can say, is that the front desk was friendly/nice when we checked in.

Motel is being remodeled by a local not so experienced group to be upscale from a $70 per night motel. patrons had written their names on the sides of the head boards. One headboard covers the lihgt switch for a one of the reading lights. There were no electrical connections near the sink. And the two several feet away were used by the microwave and the refrigerator (which never cooled down). The safety chain lock to the door was missing. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked well. We were only offered coffee and not told if there was a continental breakfast due to remodeling near the front desk. The Wi-Fi was exceedingly slow so it was not useful for watching YouTube. At the same price point of $100/night including tax and even with the remodeling complete it will be far lower quality that of the Quality in in Chico.
