Most reviews here make this out to be insanely good for the price. I will say I think they are exaggerated, but this place was about what you’d expect for the price point in the middle of nowhere. It was just fine, it worked well for the cheapest night’s stay possible. But it will not impress you.

The stay was okay i wouldn't say it was perfect. It was heavily lackinging in amenities like toilet paper and extra blankets and the tv only had one channel so if your going to stay i suggest bringing a roku stick or an apple tv stick to watch shows and also a Hotspot for wifi. And the bed are a little stiff due to it being a spring bed.

Just here for the night. Very basic but all we needed was a bed and the bed is comfortable. Could not get the TV to come on, we like to get the evening news before turning in so we do not even know what channels it gets

I've stayed in a lot of hotels and it is usually the little things that make or break it for me. Just to be clear...this was a very clean hotel with a very reasonable price. Now Oberlin, KS is by no means anywhere anyone would go on vacation. It's mostly hunters that stay in this area and it's perfect for what we are looking for. There is little to no dining options in the town. My biggest complaint would be the fact that the rooms had recently been updated....I could tell this from fresh paint, new carpet, tile, and linens. The door had a hole for a dead bolt, which would have been nice, but it was covered up with duct tape instead. Overall a nice place to stay, just don't plan on having ANYTHING to do unless you are a hunter.

Let’s get real. This is a 5-star for inexpensive motels. Very clean room. Fridge, microwave, and A/C. Convenient parking right next to room. All of which I wouldn’t expect for this price that beats the competition by a factor of 2!
