Great location 5 min walk from Paddington Station. Room had some cosmetic damage but was clean and comfortable and lovely toiletries provided. Think English B&B rather than Travelodge. There's no a/c but the fan provided was sufficient. Breakfast being included is a bonus, cereals, toast and cooked breakfast made to order. The staff were all friendly and helpful. This is a townhouse converted to a hotel so be aware access is via a narrow staircase with no lift so if you struggle with stairs request a lower floor room. Great for the price and location, definitely would stay again.

So, firstly this hotel is also with another- kingsway, I was in that building. It’s an old building, so no lift, be warned if at the top the stairs are very steep, narrow and windy. The location is good, plenty of food and drink options and it is possible to walk to and from Hyde Park, perfect when going to an event and all the transport is packed. The building is tired, the chairs in the dining room had seen better days and could have done with a clean. The breakfast was freshly cooked and good. I was unfortunately there during the heatwave, there was a portable fan but the plug didn’t fit the socket, the staff member did find an adapter so it could be used but the back was covered in thick dust. What was not acceptable was the lack of maintenance. The first night the toilet broke, member of staff came, removed a panel, fiddled and basically told me to do that each time to stop the cistern from constantly filling. I informed staff the next day, was told they would get their maintenance person out, they did not fix the problem, I was left with the same situation. There was also a leak in the bathroom from the toilet, again mentioned after the first night. All in all, good location, good breakfast but needs some maintenance in room 308, wondering what others would be like!

You pay for what you get. Great, full breakfast. Definitely a great add on to save money and still having a healthy and proper breakfast to get the day started. All the staff was super helpful. Washrooms are not the biggest, but definitely has everything you need. Great water pressure and hot water. Very close to Paddington station as well. It’s not a five star hotel, so do not go in with certain expectations as others do. However, I think, it was definitely worth it.

Staff are lovely,my room was clean,bed was comfy,but I was underground no Windows just a ventilation hole in the roof you had to unwind to open them I had kids looking down on me so couldn't relax, toilet was a bit stinky and small Breakfast was nice, They advised a bar but they don't open it for guests so you can't relax in the hotel at all and have to go out for food and drink
