Amazingly beautiful experience

My girlfriend and I had a marvelous experience staying at Borrego Springs Resort. The pool and hot tub were clean and we especially loved that the hot tub was secluded and not part of the pool. We had a wonderful prime rib dinner and breakfast outside on the beautiful golf course and we experienced and amazing sunrise from the patio of our room.

California Desert Delight

My husband and I have been coming here for cocktails, but never stayed at the hotel area. The customer service is stellar. Scott at the front desk was super friendly. Arlene at the bar making our cocktails was super friendly and kind. The manager Michelle cares so much about the quality of the experience in the restaurant/ bar area. I loved the Easter tree. Coyotes crushing last us. The bar is so old school and feels so retro and mid-century modern, the spa and golf course were closed most likely due to Covid closing down so many wonderful establishments. The pool was heated and the towels were warm. The room was spacious and simple and clean. We got to watch the road runners from our patio. It truly was a wonderful relaxing experience. They make their own crispy chips and onion dip, and the brussels sprouts were amazing. Highly recommended, Heidi S

Bad toilet

The toilet clogged very easy. Everyday we had to call someone to plunge it. No it wasn't 💩. Just liquid but janitor said use less paper. That wasn't the problem. Everything is low flow in the desert including the shower. Makes no sense when you have to use so much water to rinse off.

Huge Room and Great Views/Peace

This property is in a great location, with views of the desert and mountains in almost all directions. The King Suite is huge and has a porch. Staff is super professional and friendly. Arches restaurant is conveniently located on the property and everything we had was delicious and fairly priced. Loved our stay!

Nice for the price, clean but needs a little TLC

Hotel was very luxurious in its day, but getting a little long in the tooth. Parking was only ok. Bed was really bad, needs replacement.

A quick getaway.

My wife and I took a one night trip to Borrego returning to our favorite resort in the area. We've been coming here for over 15 years for good reason. It's convenient with a good restaurant right nextdoor( The Arches) and a great walking area adjacent on a old golf course.

I was so disappointed first of all when I got my room it smelled horrible! It was so bad I had to change rooms the second one wasn't any better stains all over the room on the chairs the couch the curtains! We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but woke up early and left! I thought it would be nice it is a resort and spa.

Solid, upscale, quiet property in the desert.

We like the property - quiet, large comfortable rooms, each with an outdoor seating area, and fabulous bar/ restaurant (Arches) with a good menu, great service, and lovely view. Nice landscaping , easy parking, very nice pool.

Borrego early winter getaway

This was a beautiful resort in its day, unfortunately it has been severely neglected. I can see so much potential for it. The tennis courts are in poor shape, they could rehabilitate it for pickle ball. The golf course is dead, they could make a sand course or frisbee golf. So sad to see it deteriorating. That being said, it was a nice stay as we could bike to town, enjoy a walk around the course, it has the cart paths and beautiful views. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable and the facilities are clean. It has a restaurant and bar and friendly staff. I think it was a little high priced for the area, but there isn’t much to choose from in Borrego. It was convenient to the other golf options.
