Even though we made a reservation a couple of months ago, I was told when arriving only King size rooms were ready, and we could not check-in at 3:00. We were originally told that I did not have a reservation. Only after I brought up the email from Hotels.com did they check their records and found the reservation.

Our room was fine and breakfast was better than what you usually find, BUT we had requested a "quiet room" upon checking in and were put in a room that adjoined another room where people were loud 2 nights of our 3 night stay - and so loud the second night that we had to call the front desk. We were told that the people in that and another adjoining room were there for a "party".... and when we complained we could hear them talking about knocking on doors to find out who had the nerve to complain about them. Very intimidating, yet the desk seemed unable to do anything. We will not come back!

Nothing was right or acceptable. I even made a formal complaint to Best Western directly and received no response back whatsoever. Upon arriving I was given a lot of disappointing information. 1) The elevator was not working. 2) A SERIOUS SECURITY ISSUE- The key machine was not working- meaning I had no key to my own room and had to be let in directly by a desk clerk. If I had left just to get ice or anything I would have had to prop the door open with the door latch in order to not lock myself out. As a woman traveling alone I chose not to leave the room period once I was in it. 3) Room was unkempt. Dirty fridge, microwave, food on walls, stains on sheets, only a partial roll of toilet paper in room with no extra roll available had I needed it which thankfully I didn’t. Also, I was not made aware that I was not going to have a tub. Had a walk in stand in shower instead. All in all definitely was expecting a prompt response from the Best Western by email addressing my concerns and issues I had to unexpectedly deal with. No such communication so far and it’s almost been a week since my stay. Must say I was dissatisfied and extremely put off by the lack of info when I booked the room and lack of effort to reach out to me in regard to my complaints.

Staff was FIVE STARS & Ms Josephine at the front counter gets TWELVE stars.. Hotel itself is lacking a bit. Empty breakfast bins, green whirlpool, still cleaning rooms at 9pm, had our room given away & a man came & opened up our door with a new key given to him by the front desk, no working elevators.. Management told us we were getting moved 4 times at OUR fault.. (I reserved my room nearly a week in advance) ETC……. I won’t return to this location, for the price? I expected much much more. I chose to pay $120 more on a two night stay FOR THESE AMENITIES, VS. another hotel.. ms J WINS, not Best Western.

Property is undergoing updates but we were made aware of this when reservations were made. The houskeeping service could be improved, only cleaned rooms and fresh linens every 4th day unless requested more often. The staff was very friendly.
