Short stay

Just had a couple of day's break and then booked an extra night. Staff are excellent - have stayed here before and was remembered. Definitely one of the best choices balancing quality and value.

Good Location poor service

The hotel is in a great location with brilliant views of the pier. No faults at all with the room. Breakfast was chaotic. On three mornings out of four we were waiting for nearly an hour to be served. People who came in after us got served first. Coffee was like dishwater, and stone cold when we eventually got our breakfast. Avod table,10, which is bottom of the list for some strange reason

Lovely staff in a nice hotel.

Lovely hotel which offered a great service. Staff were very good, nice breakfast, good bar and a really comfy room. I had a brilliant view from my room which was also a great add on. If I had to find a negatieve, the building can get very warm and decor is dated/shabby in places. A really nice stay and I would definitely visit again. It offered value for money and a pleasant visit.

2 night stay.

Stayed with my son, twin room was adequate. Room could do with updating, furniture quite tired, but room was also very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, and the lady who served us. Would I return? Yes I probably would as near to everything in walking distance.

Disappointing experience in a great location

Overall, slightly disappointing experience. The hotel is in a great location and ok condition for the price, however the wifi connection is pretty much non existent (and mobile data in Llandudno barely works!). The breakfast service was not the best and staff came across rude. We waited 15 minutes before having to ask for a menu or being offered a drink. If we were on 4 in a bed, I would give them a £20 reduction.

Wonderful overnight stay with our cavapoo

We had a truly lovely stay at The Marlborough Hotel, made even more special by its dog-friendly policy which meant our cavapoo could join us on the trip — a huge plus for pet owners! The room had everything we needed and very clean. We had a lovely room with a bay window and two large chairs overlooking the pier. The hospitality was second to none — staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our stay, which made us feel genuinely welcome. Breakfast was a highlight: a table was set up for us in the bar area (as dogs aren't allowed in the main restaurant which is perfectly understandable), and our order was taken with care. The menu offered a wide selection, catering to all tastes, and the service was just as impressive as the food. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend The Marlborough Hotel to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and pet-friendly hotel

Charming hotel

Lovely hotel Charming feel to the whole building. Had a single room,plenty of space with a great view. Hotel has a lovely little bar and evening entertainment which was just the right level for the hotel. Breakfast was a great experience with an allocated table and actual waiter service

On arrival we were greeted by friendly polite staff which was nice. Check in very simply and straight forward. We were allocated a room on the 2nd floor. Got to experience the lift, it’s the lift from faulty towers but it works! Got to the room and wow it was hot, window hardly opened which is obviously for safety reasons. Went to reception and asked for a fan but was told they were all being used and no other rooms available to move. Left it with them to see what they can do but didn’t hear anything else. It was too late for us to buy one as the shops were closed. If you stay take a fan! The room and hotel is extremely dated but it’s a super budget hotel so you get what you pay for. However it was very clean couldn’t fault it for that. We got through the night just about woke up and headed to breakfast. Breakfast was lovely can’t fault it, everything you need to start the day. We were separate to the main restaurant due to having a dog with us which was absolutely fine. Checked out and spent our day in Llandudno. Would we stay again unfortunately we wouldn’t just because of the hot room and the uncomfortable beds we would pay a bit more and stay else where. Thanks
