The kitchen has a mini fridge and propane cooktop. No microwave. No TV (which it states in the information). It was at the very end of West End and only a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants, bars, and shops on West End. The description is accurate besides the map showing it closer. I did my research and saw that it was further but that's a Google Maps issue - not the hotel. Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend if you don't want the resort amenities and to feel like you are in the jungle on vacation. Extremely clean, beds comfortable, beautiful view.

Unplanned Extra Night in West End

After having our flight to the US cancelled for a second day, we were pleased to find a room at Hotel Posada Las Orquideas on Hotels.com. We had seen Hotel Posada while staying in West End but hadn't stayed there before so we were excited to give it a try! The grounds are beautiful with spacious rooms and balconies. Unfortunately we didn't get to spend much time there after checking in late and heading back to the airport early the next morning. We would definitely stay here again!

Love this place!

We loved this place! The location is great. It is nice to be near West End (a very short walk), but far enough away that it was a very peaceful setting. The hotel felt like a tree house in the jungle with a beautiful ocean view. The studio room was perfect with great amenities if you want to cook or just make coffee and use the refrigerator. The air conditioning was great and we loved our private deck with a hammock. The cafe is so cute and food is also excellent. The WiFi in the cafe is good too! We highly recommend this hotel and plan to return.
