There was no staff available at check-in (7pm). It was hard to locate the right building, with the area unlit and the communal area of the building once inside also unlit. The room itself was shabby, with curtains falling down and not able to cover the whole window. The bed spread had holes in it and the bathroom had mould in the shower and on the ceiling. The room needs a deep clean and refurbishment.

Great location, interesting decor, not the cleanest and the floor was slopping in the bathroom. Very dusty under the bed and there was quite a lot of notice from other rooms and the restaurant.

I have stayed here about 5 times in the past 10 years and sadly it has become very run down. Bed was really uncomfortable and the fittings and fixtures need a lot of attention. Great location with on site parking and it was cheap.

Lovely old building, friendly staff. The building has character, it's not new, I believe it's heritage listed, so its not ultra modern in appearance or build but has charm and fixtures, furnishings to match. We really enjoyed our stay.

Good Margaret River Location

Good location for Margaret Wine Tour’s. The place was quaint and unique and pretty much an old vintage place. With this look though it could have done with a slight spruce up.. bathroom was really nice just the main bedroom that needed it!

Old world wood apartment - small but comfortable.

We stayed in "the cabin" which is a small self contained apartment. The apartments are in an old building kept as original. If you like "old world" you'll love it. If you are looking for something modern look elsewhere. The location is excellent. the adjacent Italian restaurant is excellent. Overall, comfortable for us.

This property is so quaint and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay here. The smell is so reminiscent of my grandmother’s house which is so nostalgic and sweet. The room was lovely with daily housekeeping. We also enjoyed the spa bath. Such a great modern addition to an antique looking home. What made me love this place even more is their staff. They’re such lovely people. I appreciate their kindness, especially when I reported the two wine glasses we accidentally broke. I offered to pay them but they refused and warmly assured us. I couldn’t thank them enough. I can’t wait to be back here again. 💖

We had a very warm welcome to Bridgefield Guest House and the Forest View Room is beautiful. Set in an old wooden property which has been beautifully maintained, the Forest Room is luxurious and has plenty of old-world charm. It has separate bedroom with balcony around three sides of the building. The large lounge, dining and kitchen areas all made with local Jarah wood. Kitchen is well equipped, not that you will need it as there is an excellent Italian restaurant a next door and it’s a short 5-minute walk to all the shops, galleries and restaurants in Margaret River. It's a shorter walk to the Margaret River Bakery. We loved our stay at Bridgefield and are recommending it to all our friends.
