Can’t sleep in this hotel.

Our purpose floor staying was to sleep but this was make impossible until well after 2am due to high noise levels both in outdoor areas and nearby rooms. Walls need sound insulation and windows double glazing. Door to corridor should not have a gap between it and the door frame. We do a lot of travel and have not had to use a double bed for years - it was not only too small but also had an uncomfortable mattress. We lodged a complaint and were told that the receptionist was unable to help. We asked to be contacted about it but to date we’ve heard from no one.

Staff were friendly, room was large, but bathroom wasn't the cleanest with huge cobwebs on the windows. Blinds weren't all easily accessible for closing. Only cutlery was knives and teaspoons, no forks. Would be helpful to have local eateries, shops in a brochure for options for food.

It’s a nice place to stay. It’s close to the river. The staff are very friendly. They have a restaurant, bar and comfortable terrace seating.

Good stay but…

Good stay at this hotel in an Executive King Room. Only issue was our room 114 had the hotel rooftop air conditioning unit outside our window which was somewhat noisy cutting in and out during our stay. Maybe consider asking for a different room if this may concern you. Otherwise our stay was fine and good value for money.

We had a great weekend at the Loxton Hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the food was great. We loved the atmosphere of the bars and restaurants.

Location was good. Easy walking distance to all shops and river. Maybe get waiter or waitress to take orders at tables so people dont have to line up and wait over an hour for food. Older part of hotel needs room updates. Bathroom so tiny and television more than 4 channels would be good

Met up with great friends from Victoria who were travelling south. They were astounded by Loxton’s beautiful riverfront. The hotel itself is inviting to just sit outside for coffee or a cold drink to watch the activity there…

An overpriced country pub. Room was clean but dated flooring. Do not get a coffee or food here, they charged me $7.90 for a medium oat milk Capp which included $1.50 for a takeaway cup (I used a disposable one). Parking is limited and I had to park on the shreet
