The biggest drawcard, apart from the location near an impressive boulevarde, was having complimentary breakfast in a room not far from reception. It would have been better to have somewhere to leave the key when ready to check out, instead of calling up.

Loved the authentic nature of the place. All original fixtures with modern bathrooms. Best of both worlds. Situated in an Art Deco town. Definitely worth a stop.

The Hydro is a great hotel in Leeton. Our room was spacious, and spotless. The dining was great; continental breakfast had unlimited choices and the hotel would get 5 stars if it had a lift. We were on the 1st floor, as we missed out on a ground floor room. But we will certainly be back!

Faultless in all aspects…Especially comfortable beds with the cleanest linen I have experienced in my many years of travelling! The modern bathroom facilities in our room were lovely,with fantastic water pressure and THE HOTTEST WATER EVER!! (Maybe a warning about that in your compendium’s would benefit parents with small children ;) I highly recommend The Historic Hydro for any length of stay,and I will be sure to tell all my family and friends of it’s existence if they don’t know already :)
