I enjoyed the modern room and big comfortable bed also being able to control the temperature in the room. I enjoy being able to come and go as i pleased as well. I didn’t like having to share a bathroom having to go through the pub to get to the accommodation stairs, there was no kitchen upstairs for tea and coffee etc… also there was no insulation from the noise downstairs in the pub. In the end though it suited my needs as i just needed a place to sleep for the night before travelling back home.

Comfortable, clean, spacious and tastefully furnished rooms with clean high standard bathrooms. Overall, very well managed. And a great location only a short walk from the Newcastle Interchange station.

Great location. Walkable into the city centre and Honeysuckle restaurant area. Property is tired. No lock on the window. Noticeable hole 30cm x 20cm under carpet just inside the entry to the room.

Overall is good experience. The staff is nice that allow me to go back to the hotel to take a shower after the full marathon run in Newcastle. The bathroom is shared and clean. It would be improved if the room can have some sort of kettle and small table can be provided inside the room.

Room was modest, comfortable, quiet, bathroom was clean, modern and all you needed. Staff were helpful and accomodating. Check in and out was easy and straightforward. Great value for money. Location for me was excellent. Definitely would stay again.

Nick, Drew and the nightshift bar staff and security were incredibly friendly. Nice to have pokies there. The beds were comfortable and clean. Nice wide screen television in room. You get two towels. No hangars. Big divets in wood floor that was carpeted over. Felt like my foot would go through at times. Could hear bar speakers through floor but was advised beforehand on check in when signing agreement sheet. It was good music. Could hear car noise, but I had earplugs. Some locks on loos and showers were broken but a wood door stop was provided. Soap dispensers in showers and sink area. Toilet brushes in loos were broken. Showers could be cleaner. I''m not used to the pub hotel style accomodations w/ a shared shower and toilet facility, so I don't know what to expect. It was worth the great value.Three other groups of people I met in town were staying there as well as someone from the train I came in on. So convenient to transpo and city. I'd give it another go. Just minor fixes needed and I'm sure they will be working on them. I'm confident in that.

Was disgusting. Handed the keys back in 10 minutes after checking into our room and booked somewhere else. One toilet SHARED with the rest of the accommodation. when booked it didn’t state this. Absolutely disgusting would NOT recommend.

A friendly host, comfortable beds but loud

Host Nick was very accommodating allowing us to drop our bags early so a big thanks for that. Hotel was fine, clean newly refurbished rooms but slightly dingy and unclean bathrooms. Main issue was the noise which went on late into the night. Felt like we were downstairs in the pub with heavy bass, thankfully as we were backpackers we had earplugs but would have had a hard time sleeping without (hence why I’m writing this review). I suppose it’s well priced so this - and not having an en suite - is what you get.
