The room was good although the bathroom is a bit on the small side. Cozy little boutique motel for the price. Only potential issue, which thankfully we avoided, is check-in time was by 5:00 pm. We drove up from another location and arrived at 4:40 and lobby was closed. Tried to call the number on the door but unsuccessful. Thankfully the associate showed up to check us in. He had previously texted me about arrival time but I was driving and couldn't respond.

Booked this motel last minute on our drive from Tweed HDs. Pleasantly surprised on arrival - looked so lovely & almost tropical. The owner greeted us & was friendly & helpful - parking directly outside our room. Our room was very spacious with a queen bed & single bed - nicely decorated & Plantation shutters. The kitchenette was a very good size & well appointed. The bathroom was nice & clean - all the towels were rolled neatly (fluffy & grey a nice change from white) & a good range of complimentary bathroom items. Had a good night’s sleep & awoke to rain on the roof. Very nice accommodation & we wished we were staying longer. We will keep this motel in mind for our future travels - thanks for having us. 🤗

Friendly reception/owner. We had 3 hotel rooms booked in total. All rooms were pleasant, clean and comfortable. Beds were a little on the firm side, but still good. Lighting wasn't the best, but adequate. If management are reading this, Room 8 desperately needs a NEW ceiling fan as one fitted is extremely old, clunky and very noisy, but offers very little airflow. Overall I would definitely recommend this motel to others who want a well positioned, comfortable motel stay in Ballina.
