Great place to stay. Friendly staff. The adjacent restaurant has a super host, Kevin. Place name is Sol y Luna. Hotel is very close to town and to the Canyon mirador. Clean,comfortable, convenient,centric.

Was nervous when I booked it knowing the area and knowing not popular tourist spots. was pleasantly surprised upon entering room. communication was great up front with lock box key retrieval and drop off. didn't leave room until next morning after a long day so hotel definitely served its purpose from that capacity.

Been at The Canyon more than once for leisure. Staff and Management are very professional and approachable. There are many places to eat from Mc Donald’s Burger King to original Puertorican delicacy or cousine. And yes I do recommend it.

The property is high up into the mountains and it took about 48 minutes to get there The place was super clean and in great shape. The only issue was the toilet didn’t work great and they tried to repair it. The people in the area are very nice and you always feel safe. Other than the long drive into the mountains it was a nice place to stay.

Beautiful Hotel

If I could give 10 stars I would. Lauri at the front desk is amazing, she waited for me to arrive to check me in even though her shift was over. So nice of her. She suggested some places to eat since I knew nothing of the area. The room was beautiful, spotless, so inviting, the smell of freshness captivating, it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while. I would highly recommend and it would definitely be the hotel I would stay at if I’m in this area again. I’m so happy they also have a location in San Juan that I can stay at since I go there at times too. Thank you Lauri for making my stay so amazing. I’m so pleased.

Shopping center, pharmacy, and gas station near the area; free parking; communication with the staff was deficient, I called more than six times in three days to the two phone numbers listed to confirm my reservation and nobody answered. Unless changes made - a fire trap

No one was available at the hotel nor on the phone when I arrived at 8:00. Someone from the restaurant found me someone from the hotel, who was very nice. The first room had no window and the metal grate exit door locked you in at night. If there was a fire I would be trapped unless I made it to the metal door and remembered to bring my key. I asked to be moved and I was for an additional $11 since the only rooms available had a refrigerator. I did not check the first room but the second did not have a GFCI in the bathroom. This is a beautiful hotel but a fire trap under their current setup. I hope they make changes because it was excellent besides being a fire trap. Virtually no internet available.
