A cute little property in the heart of Edam. It is close to the cheese shop and a few restaurants. We stayed in a back building on the second floor. The spiral stairs were steep! The property sits on a canal and it is beautiful. There is a bus very near that is non-stop into Amsterdam and only 30 minutes.

Beautiful old buildings and rooms, beds are good. Expect bathrooms and showers to be nice, clean and fully functional but "original". Our girls attended a sportsevent the whole week and I did not hear anything about the showers, which is a good testament. Great service from the manager and the whole team. Very nice and cozy all you need breakfast, delicious apricot jam, very cute little bar with all you need, amazing garden and backyard along the canal. We parked bikes in the backyard. Great location for exploring both Edam and Volendam by bikes but also North Holland. Bike rental and cheese shops around the corner, short easy walk from bus station, 20 minutes from A'dam centraal. We will absolutely come back.
