The air conditioner wasn’t on when I arrived so of course it took a while for it to cool off. The motel room was clean but the mattress was probably the worst I’ve ever experienced; luckily I was able to sleep five hours and get back on the road. This was my first work trip to Carlsbad. If there is a next time, I’ll definitely stay somewhere else.

Good deal for the money.

Rooms are dated but clean. You can hear traffic noise well so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. The pool looked great but we didn’t get a chance to use it.

The place is noisy. The place is old but clean the staff was nice. The road is close and noisy place some of the guests stayed up partying in the parking lot.

Property was good room smelled a little like smoke and the A/C unit was old needs to be replaced asap it made a lot of noise.. and it smells bad. Also the towels for the restrooms are really bad like a 0 out of a 10 they need to be changed all asap they have spots and blood spots nasty I would not stay there again…

Our stay was pleasant and the staff was friendly and our room was very clean. The only problem was that we couldn’t sit on the loveseat that was in our room because it smelled, other than that everything else was great. It isn’t noisy considering that the main road is right there, we will stay there again !!!! 👍👍

Overall we had a pleasant stay. I found one used washcloth in the shower and the bathroom had a bit of a musty smell. However, the Overall cleanliness of the room was good.

The NEW CARLSBAD INN❤️❤️

I’ve been staying here for about 5 years for business and Carlsbad INN is always my choice because even though it was good before it is GREAT NOW! they have revamped it, remolded, painted, updated tvs , coffee makers and set their cleaning standards have been set higher! I love staying here, staff is always super friendly and the POOL IS THE BEST IN CARLSBAD!
