Not great. Should not advertise "Breakfast".

In my opinion this motel survives due to short distance from UConn. The carpet is too old and stained everywhere (also ugly and depressing but that's a matter of taste). There is a very strong smell of cleaning solution or chemicals of some sort. The stairs/doors layout is very odd. The pool was in a separate building which was inconvenient, but we didn't use it because the water was very dark (it had no lights) and it looked kind of creepy. Room 238 doesn't have hot water (lukewarm at best). Breakfast is just some coffee or tea and a selection of small packaged bakery items (muffins, etc), there were also some yogurts. The beds and pillows were OK and the room was clean. At almost $200/night this hotel is extremely overpriced.

Clean comfortable room. Free breakfast was a coffee and apple, which i enjoyed but you'll be disappointed if you're thinking hot breakfast. Great for visiting uconn student!!

For the price, the room was great.

The property felt secure, and we felt safe. I appreciated that we were given a ground-floor room after I discussed physical limitations. We were sorry we didn't get a chance to use the pool, which was why this Inn was on our radar. I believe that my friend didn't get the friendliest service when she checked it. My check-in was fine. We didn't get the extra hangers we requested, which was annoying. The continental breakfast was about what we expected - pastry wasn't bakery quality, but the coffee was lovely and hot. (Not that the hotel is responsible for guests' behavior, but I want to mention that the other guests we encountered at breakfast were really nice.) The room was generously stocked with towels. I appreciated that the sheets weren't changed between our first and second day; however, I was surprised that I wasn't asked. I'd stay there again.

Highly recommended

The hotel was very clean and it was quiet although there were quite a few guests. The bed wasn’t super comfortable for me but only bc it was a firm mattress, all the linen was very soft, comfortable and clean. The pool area was very clean and I had the pool and hot tub to myself. The temperatures were absolutely perfect!! The pool was warm like bath water and the hot tub was just right. Free continental breakfast was included and a bottle of water and a bag of cheese-its were left for me in my room. The from had a medium size refrigerator (much larger than most hotels) a microwave and coffee maker. Plenty of clean towels and toiletries. There may have been an odor of marijuana when I first arrived but that dissipated in about an hour (not the hotels fault that people disrespect the rules) There are many food options including a grocery store and mall on right next door. I stayed at the graduate the night before which was more expensive and had less to offer. With hindsight I would have just stayed here both nights and absolutely will next time I have to stay in/around UConn Storrs. There is something I enjoy more about older but updated, hotels with sprawling layouts vs the new style 4 story cookie cutter hotels. It makes for a quitter and more private experience.
