Comfortable bed to sleep

The bed was very comfortable! The air conditioner was right on. The room was updated...just needed minor fixes like electrical outlet by sink needs to be replaced. And would be nice to have a end table with lamp by the chairs.

Not recommended

Extremely disappointed to the point my family had to consider finding another hotel. The room was filthy—stained sheets and a terrible smell. It was clear that housekeeping had not done a thorough job. I expected better cleanliness for the price. I do not recommend this place unless they seriously improve their standards.

Best location

This hotel was okay; the kids enjoyed the heated indoor pool since it was winter when we visited. It is all outside so you will need to walk back to your room through the weather. There were some obvious signs of wear and tear throughout the place; a dented piece of metal along the elevator door frame, a piece of the wall liner inside of the elevator had came off showing just the metal casing of the elevator, lots of scratched in names and initial anwhere you look. On our first day there, the worker entered the room, I think they mistakenly thought we had checked out. It took us by surprise as our group was all female and a strange man had barged into the room. Maybe they be more careful when reviewing checkout times and even knock before entering any rooms. There was also a few bugs here and there. The biggest plus for this hotel is affordability and location. It is in the perfect spot to get to the Island and out to the parkway with ease. There is a grocery store and gas station across the street and a couple of souviner shops next door. All in all I would probably stay here again.

Decent place to stay but beware of the details

The room was renovated but had boxes under desks instead of actual dressers. Shower had black mold on ceiling. Overall it was a fair place to sleep while visiting Dollywood. No doorknob was on the third "bedroom" door. Bedrooms did have doors but really one room flowed to the other. No locks on bedroom doors.

Inexpensive and very good.

Very nice, large updated room. In a perfect location to walk to many attractions. Rooms all have outside balcony entrances, but the view is worth mentioning. No breaakfast, but the price wad very good.

Great - NYE stay

After reading some of the bad reviews, I was very hesitant about booking here. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 toddlers and a service dog. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite. It’s not a 5 star hotel, but they don’t claim to be either. We had plenty of room for all of us. Everything was clean. Our beds were made everyday and towels were replenished. The location was excellent. I do not have anything bad to say about our stay at all. For the money, you can not beat it. We were there for NYE and we could see the fireworks at the Island from outside our room which made things so good. We didn’t have to fight the crowds and the babies could sleep while the adults could celebrate.
