Service, breakfast, and cleanliness were excellent. Bed spring mattress and type of pillows could be better. Because of my back concerns we could not sleep here again for that reason. Also, no ice.

Convenient, excellent service!

Very conveniently located, right off the main road near restaurants and attractions. The bed was very comfortable, I don't know if it was the fresh, beach air but I slept like a baby. Breakfast was eggs, biscuits and gravy, and they had a nice spread of fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, and many different pastries and breads. Excellent service.

The grounds alone at First Colony are worth a visit. And we were fortunate to visit with Cary who has created and maintains the grounds. I hope you can visit his gallery. This was absolutely my favorite part about the Inn. His creations are imaginative and fun! The room was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was a full breakfast.

Check in at 4. Front desk closes at 5. We arrived at 5:30. No keys left for us. Tried to call on phone by front door at hotel but it did not work. Walked back to my car to call on my cell phone. Nice people came back when we called to give us keys. No remote for TV. Texted managers and they returned with a remote.

Wonderful historic inn. Clean, spacious room. Innkeeper left keys for us since we arrived after 5 pm. Only negative is that we wished coffee and tea were available downstairs for earlier risers before 8:30 breakfast. Keurig in room wasn’t supplied.

Alma the lady at the lobby is awesome very attentive, pleasant and amazing hard worker. Breakfast was delicious. The room was good just a suggestion they need to add blackout curtains for more privacy, and the streaming on the tv is very slow to other than that the place is in a very good location.

Sehr liebevoll gestaltetes, historisches Hotel, großzügige, schöne Zimmer, tolle Gartenanlage mit vielen hübschen Details und Pool, Frühstück im Kolonialstil( Büfett und einer täglich wechselnden und für jeden frisch zubereiteten, warmen Komponente). Toll auch Wein und Snacks am Nachmittag. Privatzugang zum Meer. Frei zur Verfügung stehende Strandstühle und Fahrräder. Gratis Steandtücher. Kleine Mängel wurden sofort behoben. Haben rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne einmal wieder!
