We had a great time at Alouette! It was our first ever time to Old Orchard and we did not know what to expect. It was so convenient to the beach, parking was easy, the onsite cafe was a great option for breakfast. We will definitely recommend to others and stay there again.

Friendly, helpful staff, great atmosphere, clean rooms, close to beach. Dated air conditioners, yet functional. No hair dryer in room, quiet at night. Love to be able to use their beach chairs and umbrella. Staff including chambermaid were helpful and efficient. This place has a great breakfast spot onsite with good home cooked food and fair prices. Would stay here again.

Advertised outdoor pool was not on-site but 2 properties over, was very small and dirty with small broken up patio area. Location of place was terrific, just steps away from beach, staff very nice at check-in. Room was very basic which was fine however the piece of cut-out carpet used as a mat near slider/entrance was a trip hazard. AC unit located near bed and was very loud. Bed was OK but not great. Overall for the price compared to others it was fine but will look for somewhere else next year

Close to the beach, close to food and shops. They provide a free beach canopy unlike some beaches you have to pay $20 for one. The room was very accommodating all around minus the shower hardware.and floor. Price for the room per night is questionable but we were ocean-side (not view) just 10 steps from the beach. The shower needs an update. New hardware and water pressure regulator. The floor drain seemed to get backed up too, with water puddling on the floor.

We come back every year because the properties are easy to access, have a fully equipped kitchenette, and unlike many other places, really reeeeeally comfortable beds! The staff is attentive and ready to handle anything. Personally, I love that I can access the beach from our front door. Everything is close, and an added perk- the front office pups make a lovely welcoming committee.
