This was a charming place. I think I even saw an Ewok.
However, the young woman in charge at the front desk (the manager's daughter?) didn't look at us, rifled through a stack of envelopes and tossed us ours, told us they were closing early and turned around and walked back into the side room while scrolling on her phone. I sure am glad I didn't have a question.
We stayed in a one-room cabin with a bathroom and the bathroom destroyed the entire experience. It looked clean, but it smelled very not clean. I wish I would have had a gallon of bleach with me. The smell burned my nose hairs. Backed up sewer?
And it was hot. So hot. They close all the windows and allow it to rise to 110 degrees inside before you arrive. You have to open all the windows and walk away for an hour for it to cool down. That's if it is the evening time and the temperature is a little cooler. If it had been midday. Whoa.
Overall, it is a good location and decent for scout troop camp week. We may return, but only if I bring Clorox.
