The room and hotel are clean , the breakfast area was very subpar. They should be embarrassed by what was offered. They would have been better off not offering anything rather than what they put out . Ex. A single sugar donut in a ziplock bag , hard as. Rock it was so old . Bread in ziplock bags . Jelly was a squeeze bottle from the dollar store. Milk in a pitcher, juice in a pitcher. Not sure that even legal.

(Staff did not show up) additionally the back door near our room was not able to be accessed from outside. This should be something that should be fixed. We did get a chance to use the hot tub and were pleasently suprised that the jets did not splash all up into our faces (Thank You). Excellent experince overall.

Update the place, clean it good, have cups for coffee in the morning, have better breakfast, clean the carpet, get the bugs out of the lighting, renew the furniture. ALL of it. You are in an area that people come to visit. We left there and went to Cuyuna Lakes Stay. How awesome it was. We loved it at Cuyuna Lakes Stay.

It could definitely use some updates. But it was a good place to stay and staff was friendly and helpful. And we would definitely stay here again. For food nearby, Coach’s was excellent, and just a short walk away.

They were out of almost everything for breakfsst other than some cereal and not much else. The was no "breakfast" to speak of and that's one of the main reasons why I paid to stay there. No hair dryer in the room, the furniture was old and very very worn out appearing. The TV came with two remotes and the one you thought would work didn't and the other one was impossible to figure out to the point I was only able to get one channel that was nothing but news. Large cigarette burn in the bathroom countertop and the luggage rack was all rusted to the point I was afraid to put my suitcase on it. Overall the bed was the best part. It was comfy. The rest was average or below. Staff was very friendly but I was in a big hurry to get to an event on time and she wouldn't stop talking about personal matters that had nothing to do with why I was staying at the hotel.

The good: The bed was comfortable, the price is cheap, it was close to the hospital, the hot tube was working and warm, wifi was good, the entrance looks nice and the staff was friendly and accomodating (when they could be found). The bad: There is a musty smell throughout the place, the furniture is scratched up, only one channel came in on the television the coffee maker in the room was gross, furnace was not accurate with the temperature and the room was hot (with it set at 61, the middle of our Lindor Truffle's melted - they melt at 75), even when the furnace was turned off, it would automatically come on and keep the room hot. Staff could not be found to try to rectify any of the problems. Under the same circumstances we would stay again due to price and location, we would just make the same adjustments we did with this trip. We had a hdmi cable and a computer so just hooked it up to the television, bought some air freshners at the local Dollar General, and we turned the air conditioner on. If you go into it with the expectation of a low end budget place, then it will be fine.
