Good location

The location is good, in walking distance you can easily reach the tourist sites, restaurants and tram station. The room is really tiny and the stairs is very narrow when you have luggage to carry on. One thing really bothered me happened when I scalded my fingers by HOT milk by accident during breakfast. It was so hurtful that I just wanted to put my fingers under cool running water. I walked out and saw there's a water-tap in the kitchen. I didn't have a second thought to use it. Suddenly a man showed and yelled at me. I tried to explain why and I did apologize but he was so angry and just asked me to get out as soon as possible. I KNOW it's for safety reason and it's my fault in the first place but really he didn't have to be that rude to me. My finger blistered afterwards.

The man who greeted us was very nice. Hotel is really run down and basic. It seems like some rooms have been upgraded but others not. Breakfast was nice. Location pretty good. Easy walking to centre.

Fitted bottom sheets would have avoided us having to get up in the night to remake our beds. I was disappointed to find mould on the side of the bed nearest the bathroom when I had to refit the sheet in the night. Could housekeeping please check that all lights were working! Two bulbs in the bedroom were not working nor the main light in the bathroom. The bathroom cabinet light was not sufficient. One guest staying in the room could not reach the switch for it! The carpet was very grotty! If breakfast is offered at 8 o’clock, it would be appreciated that all is ready and fresh AT eight !

Muy conveniente al estar al frente de la estación central. Personal super amable y atento. No tuvimos electricidad como desde las 9 pm hasta las 2 am por una falla en la ciudad, no es culpa del hotel, pero me hubiera gustado que tuvieran un mejor sistema de respaldo para ocasiones así.

La habitación es encantadora con lindos detalles antiguos. La cama es muy cómoda. El baño compartido pudiera estar más limpio. Cómo edificio antiguo es ruidoso pero aceptavle. Bien ubicado muy cerca del centro histórico. Recepción cierra muy temprano pero la entrada autónoma fue muy sencilla.

The bed was great. Bathroom was big, almost same size as the room, but the air was a bit damp. Floor was still wet in the morning if I took a shower in the evening. Location is great, short walk to the center.

Misleading photos

The photos did not reflect the general condition of the room. The room was clean but it did not match the photos at all. I was expecting a more modern room, but instead it seemed like it was built years ago without renovation. We also had a sort of loft where you had to climb up some narrow stairs to get to the bed inside the room, which I was not aware of while booking. Staff was friendly and answered questions that we had. Location was central and we could walk to the center in a few minutes.

Muy buena experiencia. La habitación es muy buena. Solo que es 2do piso. Sin lujos, lo que queremos, limpio, comodo, baño privado (tambien hay compartido), bien ubicado. Pasamos bárbaro!

Ha sido una experiencia horrible. Las habitaciones que hay en la pagina web no tienen nada que ver con la que nos han dado. La suciedad de todo en general y el baño en particular, que fue comprobado por el personal, quien nos dio la razón, fue una pesadilla dormir en este horrible lugar.

El hotel está muy bien situado y la atención y servicio de las recepcionistas: Ilena y Lorena fue excepcional!!! Ambas son muy amables, simpaticas y ayudan a cualquier cosa que se necesite. Sin embargo, el hotel necesita un poco de mantenimiento y el baño no es muy bueno. Para el precio está bien y para una estancia corta también.
