The location is perfect and the property has great bones, but it is very tired and in great need of updating. The tiles in our bathroom were cracked and the windows were cracked and peeling. The window hardware fell apart and we could not close it. They offer breakfast with terrible coffee using paper plates and cheap plastic utensils. Honestly for $160/night I expected much better

The innkeeper was very friendly and the grounds are pretty, but the room is in really old and poor condition. The water taps in the shower knocked so bad I thought they would explode, the bathroom sink had really leaky taps, the bathroom mirror is so old the black is coming through. Bathroom fan was loud and did nothing to clear humidity once we managed to get the shower to work. The whole place needs a paint job and a thorough cleaning. The window was so dirty you can barely see out it and the curtains don’t block the outside lights they leave on all night. The room furniture is old and dated and the tv is tiny. Not even a crappy picture on the wall. There was a pest control truck outside the hotel in the morning and when I asked what for he said insects around the property. Maybe, I don’t know, there was no bugs in our room The only thing I’ll give it is the beds and linen seemed fairly new and were actually quite comfortable. Not a place to relax .. it is a cheap place to sleep and not spend anytime in. We didn’t go for the continental breakfast - we had zero faith it would be good based on the condition of the room.

Although advertised on hotels.com, there was no breakfast offered in the offseason (not a deal breaker for us). Outside hotel looked great but rooms were dated. Lowest toilet ever seen.

We stayed here during off season so it was very quiet. The Inn is in a good location, and the reception building is lovely with a pretty veranda with plenty of seating for summer time. The rooms are adequate, the bathroom had been updated with new fixtures and new flooring. The exterior of the motel type rooms has been renovated. The interior could use a coat of fresh paint, but all in all, a decent place to stay with a very good breakfast.

Was the only guests at the lodge because of off season but woke up at 7am to loud construction outside our room because the room beside ours was being worked on. Could have been put in any other room but that is the room they choose for us and did not offer anything for the annoyence.

This resort had character. A classic resort in the area amongst more modern places with half the charm. Well maintained on the outside with very clean rooms. Beds were comfortable and the place was quiet. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful porch on the main house offering comfy seating and lots of tables to enjoy games with the family. Only issue was the air conditioning would not stay running continuously. This was probably human error on my part, so we ran the fan instead. I would stay here again. We loved the vintage charm of the place.

The staff was very friendly and approachable. Check in was easy. Accomodations were acceptable, the bed and pillows quite comfortable. It's an older resort that could use upgrades with furniture and plumbing, but we would happily stay there again.
