Hotel was located on the beach so location was ideal for relaxing. We stayed in the Penthouse, 4th floor, which did give us plenty of room & pretty views of the water from balcony. Room does have a full kitchen if you wanted to cook meals. Fresh coffee in lobby all day is good. Grounds are well maintaned & plenty of parking. My 2 negatives were that there's NO elevator in the building we were in (website never stated this). Carrying luggage & stuff 4 floors only made me mad, never thought to ask if there's an elevator at a hotel with 4 floors? Simple breakfast would be ok but there's nowhere to eat in lobby so carried yogurt, boiled egg & coffee up 4 flights of stairs 1st day, we had breakfast out the rest. When I asked about elevator they said there's one in the building next door?

Rooms are perfect for two for a weekend away , big, bright and airy. The location is spectacular. Reception are always helpful and engaging. Doors open straight on to Lake Michigan which you can gaze at from the in room jacuzzi. This was a return visit , they happily agreed to a special request for the same room from a previous trip which was very gracious of them. Will definitely be back. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay! We love Traverse City. Having a comfortable room that overlooks the bay, and a jacuzzi tub, were such treats! "Breakfast" is more of a cheap snack bar, but at the price for our stay we found we could splurge on food elsewhere.

I love the room with the Bay View and SpaTub! The rooms are dated but the view of the water view and customer service makes up for that. The walls are thin, maybe thats something they can update to make it more sound proof. Other than that we had a great time!

Dont go in the cold, heat went out over night. Didnt get any help till they opened at 8. Had to go find somewhere to stay warm and had to spend more money. No sleep.

We have stayed her before in the summer. It was February and windy the air came in through the closed sliders our heat went out most night 2 and in the morning they couldn't fix it so we had to leave mid stay

Property is in need of repairs our room was so cold because it had snow coming in around the slider in two areas it was so cold 56 degrees heat turned up to 80 and was still in the 50s no blankets on the beds only sheets and light unquilted spread. Asked for an actual blanket was brought another spread. Finally was offered space heater but still wasn't helping ended up having to change rooms at 8pm. Cam was very helpful in getting that arranged beds were comfortable good coffee beautiful view of bay facilities in need of tlc
