Smokys day trip

One day visit to the mountains so early check in online saved time, foom was clean and stocked mattress seemed worn or possibly broke down but was able to sleep on it. Fro t desk personal nice and friendly. A good stay was enjoyed by us.

Overall nice stay

Everything was great, the location was great, everything was clean, plenty of hot water, but the bed was the hardest and most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. The balconies and seating were nice to enjoy the weather and surrounding mountains. No smell of weed, like there seems to be literally everywhere else.

First negative review ever given.

We are a family of 7 and we book way ahead of our planned trips in order to get joining rooms. We showed up and did not have joining rooms. Spoke to Danielle at the counter and she said there were no notes made but when I showed her there was she said “ Well I see it now but I didn’t assign the rooms and there is nothing I can do!” She said “Let me help the next people and I’ll deal with you later.” I asked Danielle why she was being rude and she said she wasn’t and she said she didn’t say that. We have been coming here for over a decade and this was very rude. We came here before the renovations and have always left a good review. In fact, I’ve never left a bad review anywhere prior to this one. As I said, we purposely book well in advance since we have a need for two joining rooms. On this night, we had to sleep with adults in different rooms.

Bed bugs!!!

There were bed bugs in the room. The management did nothing to fix the situation, and won't even respond to calls. I had to send my expensive luggage to be treated just to be sure we didn't bring any bugs in the house from the hotel.

Housekeeping

The girl who checked me in, did not mention housekeeping choices, issues. I assumed we would have housekeeping daily. No one ever came.we checked in on Friday March 7 th and left Monday March 10 th. I am fine if they don’t come . I know things have been difficult/ different since Covid. I just think we should be told… put your trash outside the door, we’ll leave more bad, call down for more towels, etc. are normally informed. Room was clean. The check in girl was polite.
