It was ok the front desk receptionist gave my family a hard time and had an attitude. We were all visiting for my grandmother funeral and she made it difficult while checking in

Was in town for a local gathering, and the Washington & Lee motel was a decent place to stay the night. I was cautiously optimistic when booking, and everything turned out fine. Owner was very kind, rooms are simple but clean, rates aren't overpriced, and a/c worked very well. Would have liked to watched some news in the morning, but the cable box wasn't working.

Very well kept facility. Fresh paint. New floors. Cleaned thoroughly. It is a an old time road side motel. But is tidy and attended to.

It was old but CLEAN! Came down for Colonial bikefest and it’s far enough to get a good ride in and out before getting to your destination. For the price you can’t beat it.

Good, solid choice for the price. The room was clean, it had all the basics including free wi-fi, everything worked and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback is that it is a mile or two outside the town of Montross, so not really within walking distance.
